    Looks can be deceiving

    My wife booked it and when we pulled up outside I thought what have we dun . However once inside its a gem . The lady on reception is friendly,rooms are great, the breakfast is fantastic, and there is a restaurant open in the evening. A really lovely stay . Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

    Very nice indeed

    Whilst it takes some 15-20 minutes to walk there from the centre of Verona, its definitely worth the effort. The hotel is classy, trendy, and well converted...with good quality fittings and nice little touches. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant with good skills in English. Whilst it has no parking there is a fairly big car park a few minutes walk away (5 euros for 24 hours). So, if you are happy with a bit of exercise to get into town, this place is very much recommended.

    Noise from lobby bar ruined stay

    We chose this hotel because it is located off the beaten track and just a short walk from the historical old town. Locanda al Vescovo is a tastefully refurbished old building offering clean, comfortable and modern rooms with slippers, bathrobes, coffee/tea station, air conditioning and a cosy spa on the lower level. The breakfast is fresh and varied and the staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. Thursday night was quiet - exactly what we had been looking for from a boutique hotel away from the crowds. But Friday and Saturday night were very unpleasant. The noise coming from the lobby bar (located at the foot of a short staircase leading up to the rooms on the first floor) was so loud that I couldn't sleep until it ended, usually around midnight. Avoid room 103 - it's the room that faces the lobby bar staircase. Unfortunately, two sleepless nights ruined an otherwise lovely stay.

    So pleased we booked this hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Modern vibe with very classy feel. Room was so comfortable and spotless! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast plentiful, presented really well, very fresh with plenty variety. Enjoyed the spa where it was complete relaxation. A walk into town on the flat. Full marks from us. Excellent value for money.

    No refund!

    I Had this hotel booked for a wedding since January 2020 then the global health pandemic happened and no airlines where flying passengers plus Italy was not welcoming tourists! I contacted the hotel several times, my emails went ignored for about 2 months. I asked to have a refund on the cost of my stay considering the circumstances to which they eventually got back to me declining my request Stating it wasnt their fault!! I then went on to ask if I could not have my refund would it be possible to have the dates changed to anytime after the global lockdown when it was safe to travel, I have contacted them several times again and still have not heard back from them! Its been 3 months..!!!
