  Wonderful location and helpful service

  We have stayed in Lo Studio several times; the rooms are fun, with their colour-coordination, and very comfortable; the self-catering gives you freedom; the breakfast (in a near-by Caffe with excellent coffee and selectrion of food) is fine; and the location is unbeatable. The staff know the area well and have given us good advice on restaurants and sight-seeing. Our (adult) daughter and her partner stayed with us and enjoyed it as much as we did.

  Cosy comfort in vertiginous village

  Lo Studio is very good value for money, excellently located and originally decorated. Each room is different and has a particular charm of its own. Hemmingway lovers should stay in the red room where a film about the author was shot. Tiziana certainly makes you feel welcome and will help whenever needed. Some people might find the decoration somewhat loud, but we appreciated its sense of fun and cosiness. The breakfast in the bar opposite is perhaps Spartan by Anglo-Celtic standards but it does the trick, especially with so many good restaurants to choose dinner from plus the fact that you can self-cater. You can park in the square at a reduced resident's fee and take the funicular to the shops and market below. Mondovi is a pleasant place apparently much loved by Napoleon due to its dominant position and great view of the surrounding countryside. Many people come to the village because of the outlet centre at Mondovicino, however it would be a pity to come here just to be ripped off by phony discounts. The village itself and the accommodation provided by Lo Studio should be enough to make your stay worthwhile.

  Great and Greater!

  We worked with the Tiziana and her staff to host our wedding in Mondovi for a week. They were very accommodating the whole time and did their best to make everything special. The location couldn't be better and everyone enjoyed themselves. We'll be heading back as soon as we're able to!
