  Quiet and close to amenities

  The hotel was super close to where my friends live and there were so many stores around the corner. The room provided faced East and the sun peeking in the blinds in the morning was perfect. You cant beat it for the price.

  My getaway and relaxation spot.

  Once a month I get away from the house and family to relax and kick back to enjoy my free time too myself. I work hard all week and I definitely deserve a break I love staying at the hotel because not to many people knows about it only during the new year's holiday and when the officers club was open on saturday nights good food and wine is another reason why I come here.

  Not clean

  This trip was for a spectrum fitness stay. Upon arriving, I noticed the hotel looks very outdated and not nice. When we entered our room the room was decent but looked very unclean. There was no room service to help keep the place nice and tidy and when calling for coffee cups in the morning they could not bring me any due to lack of staff. This is unacceptable considering if they know there was a big event that weekend and lions gate should be prepared. Floors looked gross, property was not nice. Lions fare needs a renovation if they want to keep there prices high and keep decent customers because this place mimics trash.

  4 Nights

  I stayed 4 nights at the Lions Gate. I was there for a training. I have stayed there several times in the past. As always, It was a great place to. Easy parking very close to the room. The stove in the room was nice to be able to reheat food. There was also a microwave, but I prefer to heat my food in a pan.

  Wouldn't recommend at all!

  It did NOT feel sanitary or safe at all. The king sized suite was large, but it was old, dingy, and dark, smelled like smoke (maybe cigarettes or some other drugs) the couch had stains, several of the lights didn't work, the entry way door was busted open with the wood pieces scattered all over the floor, there were homeless people hanging outside of the front check-in area, the check-in clerk said she felt sick, which made us feel very uncomfortable because she had to give us room cards and touch our ID and Credit Card, she was in training, but no one else was there to help her, and she asked us for a $200 CASH deposit which we have never had to do before, so it made us feel very uncomfortable. She was eventually able to find us a smaller room that was recently upgraded, so we ended up staying. Additionally, while on my way to the front desk to check out, I observed that one of the room cleaning staff persons sat the clean, folded sheets on the ground and leaned them against the doorway outside of the storage room. He came back up the stairs to get them, but at that point, those were very dirty and needed to be properly sanitized and stored. Lastly, the restaurant had people sitting inside of the restaurant eating, when we are in a time where that isn't allowed due the the Coronavirus pandemic. The employees need proper training and the hotel needs to be properly staffed. There was no one there to repair the broken door, no one there to witness that the door was broken into, no one there to help the trainee clerk, no one there to regulate how staff deals with bedding and other items that should be kept clean/sanitary, no one to regulate how the restaurant should operate, etc...
