    A few days in Lviv

    Nice place in the middle of nature. Friendly staff. Not too close to the centre, it's a 20 minute walk. You can park in the street. We had a nice apartment, calm, peaceful. Breakfast was good. Would go again.

    Great service! Great atmosphere!

    We stayed 3 days and all the stuff was nice and speak English very well. I didn't know how to rent a car in Ukraine, but staff translate everything. My girlfriend had a birthday and they brought a bottle of sparkling wine for us. You need to walk up the hill to get there though. But the atomosphere around there was nice and quiet.

    Good place for stay

    Small hotel on a quiet street. Not far from city center but still few minutes of walk to get there. If you prefer not to be disturbed by city noise, Lions Castle is perfect for that. Breakfast is good , but otherwise bar is limited to few snacks accompanied with drinks. However I dare to suggest if city center is not attractive.

    Authentic nice place with

    The Hotel has big and nice rooms. Quiet place. Furniture is old, I think need to replace to new furniture. No air conditioner, in the summer I think its hot. After dinner bar is not working. Staff is helpful and nice. So its average, hotel must to do homework for this price.

    Lovely restored castle

    This beautiful, 19th century stone castle is a charming and quaint place to experience Lviv in. For our first couple of days, we stayed at 'On the Square' guesthouse right in the heart of the bustling, pulsating Rynok square. While it was great, the place lacked free parking. We moved to 'Lion's Castle' because of the free parking and free breakfast bait and loved it instantly. It's in a quieter part of Lviv, but Rynok Square is just at 15-20 minutes walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious - but the best part for non-Europeans used to the hose next to the WC is that this was the only place that had one. Hallelujah! One thing to remember though: the building we were at had no lift and our room was on the 4th floor. Thankfully, we had backpacks. Imagine lugging huge luggages all the way up. Decent breakfast and an overall pleasant experience. Definitely recommended.
