  Week snowboarding in Borovets.

  Never been to Bulgaria before but will return. Hotel was for the price paid, perfect. Room was a good size with plenty of room for our stuff and plenty warm. No complaints from my teenage daughter which is always a plus. Breakfast and evening meals were again without issue, always somewhere to sit and we had no queues what so ever. Breakfast was standard continental and hot fair. Evening meal was always plenty full with salad and various meat and fish, veg or chips every night and dont forget the included wine or beer. Would we stay at the hotel again? Definitely yes, we enjoyed our stay.

  Beautiful hotel

  We stayed here in our first trip to Borovets. The hotel is lovely, really modern, great staff, facilities and the rooms are awesome. Food was really good to. They have a shuttle bus so no need to worry that it is a bit further out the way than some hotels. In the evening we liked the walk into town, nice.

  My perfect time for relaxation

  Wonderful hotel suitable for families. Located in the forest the hotel provides quiet and clean rooms. Traditional Bulgarian cuisine is a must if you're first time here. If you're If you're looking for relax in the mountain that's the place to visit !

  Relaxing stay

  The hotel is located in a 10 mins walk from the bus stop. It is surrounded by woods... Comfortable beds, clean and quiet rooms, spot on amenities: bath foam, cotton buds, shampoo, soaps, shower cap... all in place, and replaced daily. We had complimentary bottles of white wine and still water. Staff were friendly and helpful! The only thing we didnt like was the wait at Mehana restaurant, and the lifts as they were glitchy, when you pressed level 4 it automatically stopped on level 3 and 5, etc. So, it was quite a wait till you get to the right floor. SPA area was great: clean, tidy and nice tranquil atmosphere! The gym wasnt as good as I expected though. Overall we had a great time at the hotel!

  Winter Skiing Trip

  I really cannot recommend the Hotel Lion Borovets enough. My five friends and I stayed in the hotel over the Christmas period and had an amazing experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly from the general manager to the cleaning ladies. The rooms where exceptionally clean as was the hotel itself. Due to Covid restrictions we ate in the hotel every night and the food was amazing and very well priced. The hotel has a shuttle bus that runs often which was ideal for getting in and out Borovets. The pool and spa are very nice as are the staff, I got massage during my stay and would highly recommend getting. I will most definitely be returning to Hotel Lion Borovets.
