  Lovely skiing introduction

  Having never skied before we opted for a package that included ski school, equipment, lift passes and of course hotel. Stayed here for a week at the end of January. Rooms were very spacious, beds lovely and comfortable. Shower and bath. As you enter the hotel you are greeted by a huge fire in the centre of the Foyer. There is a gym, a large pool and a very welcoming spa. Which we used each day. All the staff we found to be very helpful and pleasant. The food is buffet style with a good choice and very tasty. It is a 10 minute walk to the ski gondola or a free shuttle every 10 minutes or so. We skied every day as they can make their own snow, so no problems with the shortage that is the theme this season. The old village was lovely to walk round. Would certainly come back here and use this lovely hotel.

  Good hotel for price paid

  This hotel was central in the town with shuttle bus to the gondola in the mornings at 8am although it's only a 5 min walk which was helpful when you have lots of ski equipment. The food was good with a large buffet for breakfast and dinner although queue for coffee/water/juice was ridiculous at all times. Limited food for vegetarians but we managed fine ! There is a small gym which was very quiet so nice to use. In terms of the rooms they were large and clean but the TV didn't have English channels. Our room smelt a bit of smoke but as we arrived late in the might we didn't bother to complain and change rooms. Our main complaint was the fact the fire alarm went off nearly every night, other guests that we became friends with didn't necessarily hear it every night so was maybe just our wing of the hotel but this is exceptionally frustrating when we were getting up at 7am to go skiing! We were also charged for water in the mini bar that we didn't drink but refused to pay and it was fine. Hotel provided shampoo and clean towels daily. Some of the reception staff could come across a bit rude but could have been due to the language barrier. Overall would potentially stay here again as it was cheap and had decent food and clean rooms. Main downsides were smell of smoke and fire alarms going off.

  Excellent choice

  A great hotel! Superb food and very clean. The pool is brilliant for entertaining kids after skiing and before dinner. If you decide to go to Bansko I definitely recommend this hotel. The bar area could do with a few games perhaps for kids although it has a pool table. We found it difficult to keep them entertained after dinner for a brief period before bed.

  Last minute Ski Holiday

  Lovely location, great hotel, big, airy room with bath & balcony, very clean, friendly & helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Buffet meals plentiful & tasty with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend. Just a short free shuttle bus ride from the gondola. Booked with Balkan Holidays & got the Fast Pass to save a huge queue at the gondola. Sorted!

  Comfortable hotel

  Location of this hotel is very convenient. This hotel is within walking distance from cafes and rink. You may take shuttle bus or walk to the gondola. The food was delicious! There was a wide variety of dishes. The room was cozy. After skiing you may relax in front of camin.. I was impressed with the pool and jacuzzi.. I recommend to stay at this hotel
