  Avoid!

  We checked in in November with my small child, went to our room beds were uncomfortable at best, no hot water at night, called reception were told someone would come up - they never did, went to bed assuming I would have water in the morning - we did not. Went to reception where we were told the hot water was out and there was no where to shower myself or my small child. After I explained I needed to bathe my child we were taken to what could only be a share house that I didn't even take my shoes off to shower in that stunk like smoke and looked to never have been cleaned, it didn't feel safe at all for myself and most importantly my child. After further complaints I was still charged full price without even an apology.

  Old, basic, cheap

  We wanted somewhere cheap in Sydney for a late arrival/early exit on a Saturday night. This place is quite old and a bit run down - but this is reflected in a very low price - $90 per night for a room with a queen bed and ensuite. Ok for us as we were not loitering. Offers off street parking and is within walking distance of Lane Cove shops with lots of restaurant options. Its on the Pacific Highway but our room was at the back with small views across the city. No vehicle noise.

  Last Resort,Not the best

  I booked online,got a different room to the one pictured.Room was small,bathroom was tiny,Carpet needs replacing,it's grose.Beds were OK.Towels were old & discolored.No bench space to make a cuppa.Jug on top if Microwave.Beds were OK,it done the job.Bathroom needs a Reno.Hallway to room was small & dingy.Not enough parking space.It's just OK if you need a bed for the night,that's all.

  Greame is making this place better

  So alot of work is going into revive this place the locals are very friendly and helpful just needs a bbq i think for long stays eat out everynight is not ideally healthy and can be expensive is it very central to where we are working atm

  One Night Only

  We decided to come to Sydney at the last minute and most places were booked out. We phoned the place as we were travelling because there was no immediate booking facility on the site. The person on the phone was difficult to understand (I asked him to repeat the price three times and he kept saying normal price is $140 but... and I couldnt catch the but part. When we arrived it was $170 for one night. The parking is very tight, and the room was pretty awful. It smelt like theres a moisture problem and the kitchen was very poorly equipped (there was only one mug and not enough glasses etc.) and a bit grotty. The sofa bed, which my eldest son slept on, looked grimy and was uncomfortable. There were broken drawers, cupboards and shower screen. The tv didnt work and soon after settling in we saw a small cockroach creep out from under the microwave. Our room was at the front and we could hear traffic noise as well as people in the other rooms moving about. Luckily we arrived late and left the next morning so we didnt have stay for too long. :-/
