  Happy Hogmanay

  Went for the 2 night New Year package. Magnificent bedroom, modern bathroom with spa bath (no shower enclosure?), lots of little gifts etc. Staff and management most friendly and helpful. Great party atmosphere both nights with good entertainment. Some guests even performed! Will be back for sure.

  Unforgettable

  Stayed here for one night at the weekend (wife myself and 2 year old son) before arriving phoned to request a travel cot in the room in place of a travel bed, request was no trouble to staff and then on arrival checking in was so pleasant and welcoming. My son loved the grand staircase throughout the entire stay, room was spotless and warm and included some nice treats. Children's play park across the street is a great place including the rainbow butterfly seats Bar area very cozy and relaxing, before sitting for dinner we were asked if we would prefer the conservatory as it was less formal which was a great choice as the little one likes to move around, food was incredible as is the service and have to mention the member of staff serving our table who helped my son find the moon which he was trying to find in the sky as well as taking him to meet the chef which my son came back replying he say the 'burny fire' really made the experience for him and a great memory so thank you to her and the chef =) Bed very comfortable, had a good sleep and breakfast was also very good and a relaxed setting although my son had me going up and down the staircase most of the morning When checking out the staff were happy to direct us on how to get to the beach so the little one could see the water and go into the very impressive play park. Definitely a worth while weekend and one as a family won't forget for all the right reasons, would definitely recommend and hopefully return to in the future.

  Friend getaway

  Stayed for 1 night at the Links hotel but dont think it is worth the money as rooms are due an upgrade.Bathroom was very dated as was furniture which needed some maintenance.Cleanliness was not the best in rooms & public toilets in reception & bar area.We had meal on Saturday night which was not great the frozen chips my friends got with their fish were uncooked & cold & next day 3 of them had upset stomachs..the breakfast was lovely but when we asked receptionist if it was different chef from previous night we were told yes it was ..It is a real shame that these things bring down our stay as bar staff,waitresses & receptionist were all really lovely & helpful..

  overnight stay

  Room was clean and comfortable, but our bathroom and breakfast room downstairs could do with some upgrading. Dinner and breakfast was very nice with good choices and generous sized portions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Well located for golf courses and town centre. Would definitely stay again.

  Relaxing and Homely

  We had a great room with a lovely view. The hotel has a homely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was fantastic and my gluten free dietary requirements were well taken care of. We noticed local people were dining in the restaurant which is always a good sign. We would definitely stay again.
