Sadly not as expected! We were moved to this hotel by jet2 as the hotel we should have stayed in had to close for the season. We were due to stay in a luxury hotel close to other family. The photos advertising this accommodation looked lovely, sadly they are not representative of the real thing. It's a very quaint little place and at one time the communal areas were probably lovely but they've been left to deteriorate, plants not looked after etc, therefore looking somewhat tired and in need of care and attention. The rooms are again sadly the same. They are not the standard of a 4 star rating. They have small windows which make them dark and not much to look out of, the curtains need to be closed otherwise other guests can see in from the communal areas. There is no private outdoor space so makes it feel claustrophobic and a bit prison like. The furniture is cheap looking, our bed had wires showing in the headboard from where they'd put lighting to try and make it look nice. The bed was broken underneath and fixtures and fittings were tired looking and in need of upgrade. The bathroom was very small and in very much need of an upgrade. The bath enamel had flaked off and looked like it had just been painted over. There was a grotty looking shower curtain (I hate shower curtains!) which you would not expect in a 4 star rated accommodation. The shower was over the very narrow bath which made it difficult for me, who is only small to get showered. It proved near enough impossible for my husband who is 6ft tall and broad. This was the same for my sister-in-law who is only small and my brother who is also 6ft and very broad, in their bathroom (they had the grand suite!). The bathroom fittings were grotty and coming off the wall. The kitchen was basic with cheap looking cupboards and grotty tap fittings, not 4 star standard! We had an horrendous drain smell coming from ours! We also found a dirty sponge in the cupboard, bearing in mind this was supposed to have been cleaned and sanitised to covid-19 standards! Obviously not the case. The air con in the living room didn't work either. Breakfast, something I was looking forward to in Greece but not the case here. Due to covid, the accommodation were not allowed to serve their usual buffet breakfast, which we totally appreciated and understood how difficult it was for them, however we did not expect the alternative nor appreciated it. It consisted of a takeaway box with a plastic tub of processed fruit (not fresh), a small tub of thick processed yoghurt, a vac pack of slimey turkey/ham?, vac pack of rubbery cheese, some unpleasant bread which was not fresh! As mentioned we totally understand these are difficult times, however when the restaurant at the top (atmosphere bar) managed to serve us some lovely Greek yoghurt, fruit and muesli for 4.50 and the hotel we moved to managed to serve breakfast to us by order behind a plastic screen, the harmony suites could have made a better effort. This proved they were not ready to open in these current circumstances. After 3 nights (2 days) we managed to find somewhere else and decided to leave. The accommodation we moved to in Vlycha Beach was far more suited to the standards of a 4 star hotel and is actually cheaper than the Lindos Harmony. It was the Lindian Jewel, although this is out of Lindos centre, you can get taxis easily for between 9/12. Although in Rhodes I'd recommend hiring a car and exploring the island. On leaving, early Mon morning (arrived late fri night), I checked under the bed to make sure we'd got everything and found dirt under there and a piece of tissue (the tissue was not ours). The rest of the room did not have that amount of bits on the floor, nor were we there long enough to have created that much mess under the bef, therefore this must not have been cleaned properly before we arrived. Of the two full nights we were there we didn't even feel like going back to the room to get ready to go out, we stayed out and as we were until bedtime. My 18yr old son and his friend stayed in basic accommodation in Vlycha Beach, advertised as such, as that is what they could afford, however the cleanliness of their accommodation exceeded that of the Lindos Harmony Suites. If you want 4 star accommodation and a little bit of luxury this is not the accommodation for you. It is also not suitable for those with mobility difficulties as you have to drag your suitcase up and down steep uneven walkways. I would not recommend this accommodation. I also believe they are not ready to open in the current covid circumstances. The time it was closed could have been used to upgrade and repair the place.

Disappointing, basic self catering. We were a party of 4 mature adults and visited Lindos with family for a 50th birthday celebration, we took the Harmony Suites after 2 x 3hr calls to Jet2 as our initial hotel had informed us directly that it was not opening. The suites were not initially the location we wanted as other family had booked near the original hotel in Vylcha, however we thought being in the Village was a trade off and it was the only supposedly 4* accommodation on offer that was nearest to other family booked in Vlycha beach. However sadly it was not what we had expected or hoped for and did not match the online description. It started when the coach dropped us off at the top car park of Lindos after a late flight, we were not warned about the walk to the accommodation, which I found difficult due to the steep inclines. The manager met us at drop off and took a couple of our suitcases but nonetheless it was not an easy walk on narrow, uneven street streets which were up and down, the final part up to the entrance of the studios is on a steep incline, then stairs to negotiate down to the rooms, none of this is detailed in the description. Not only was it not easy, one of our suitcases was badly scratched due to the uneven surface it was dragged on. We were shown to our rooms and only then told breakfast would not be served the following morning because of Covid restrictions and were each given a cardboard box out of a fridge in a storeroom, they contained squashed, hard bread, jam, a carton of fruit, yoghurt and juice with the promise there would be additional food and coffee available the following day, we accepted this as a one off, it was late at night and we were all tired. The following morning there was no coffee or other drinks or anything else on offer so we sat at the unmade tables on the decked area and attempted to eat the breakfast out of a box, there were no staff or other guests at the property. We felt like we had been dumped there, we were completely deflated and after trying the food in the boxes quickly decided quickly to leave them and walked out to purchase a proper breakfast elsewhere. It did not get any better, the second morning the manager was in attendance and offered muffins and coffee and the cardboard box of food again, we politely declined and again ate breakfast out, we had still not been checked in at this point and so we decided pretty quickly it was not what we wanted or indeed what we had paid for and contacted our in resort rep. There followed a series of calls and texts and a meeting with the rep and so on the third morning, after 36 hours of waiting and not hearing back from the rep and with the prospect of yet another carboard box for breakfast, we decided to check out. We sourced another hotel at our own expense, it was classed as a 3* only however it was a whole world away from the Harmony Suites in terms of standards, rooms, cleanliness and breakfast on offer. The Harmony studios are basic at best, they are advertised as 4* but sadly they fall way below that rating, they were just not ready to accept guests after being closed due to Covid, clearly demonstrated by lack of a proper breakfast, unmade tables, dead plants, tatty communal areas, grubby tired bathrooms, a dead cockroach in one of the bathrooms and a dreadful drain smell in one of the studios. We had paid Jet2 for 4* plus bed and breakfast however these suites are not and should not be classed as such, they are budget self catering studios with no private outside area other than the communal yard/deck which on the second morning we had to share with smoking guests that had just arrived. To say we were disappointed is an understatement, we had booked back in January and were so looking forward to a special holiday and whilst we were glad to be away and accepting that things would be different due to Covid, we did not expect to feel so uncomfortable, which we honestly did, we could not wait to leave and we are currently in correspondence with Jet2 over our complaint about the same.

Very OverratedOverrated - "ie to have a higher opinion of something than is deserved"............... The review title sums up this accommodation. In its day, likely some time ago, it might well have been worthy of 4* rating, however in my opinion this is not the rating it now deserves. The travel agents online photographs and description only marginally resemble the property. It was clear that it had been closed presumably due to the uncertainty of travel this summer, however perhaps the owner and the travel agent should have checked it was ready before allowing paying guests to return. The whole property is generally shabby, neither the studios or communal areas are dressed as the marketing photographs demonstrate, whilst they are relatively spacious, the studios are basic, the kitchens have the bare minimum, the bathrooms are cramped, tired, poorly maintained and not as described. Furthermore, the cold inedible breakfast out of a box without a hot drink sat at unmade tables with no staff was nothing short of appalling given that we had paid for 4* bed & Breakfast. We should perhaps have guessed what awaited us based on the access to the property after the transfer dropped us off. Although the manager met us we then had to walk with our suitcases, late at night via an undulating, poorly lit back street, followed by a very steep incline up to the entrance and stairs down to the studios, which conveniently is NOT mentioned in the travel agents description and which some in the party found difficult. This coupled with grubby studios, dated bathrooms, a constant pungent drain smell in one, lack of general cleanliness and attention to detail, plus no privacy outside of the studio along with the makeshift 'breakfast', ranks this accommodation more in keeping with 2* self-catering accommodation. It is most definitely NOT deserving of the current rating of a '4* Hotel with Bed & Breakfast ' which is how it was sold to us.

Great location, but apartments need some updating - slightly disappointing overallLocation is great - only 3 minutes walk from town centre, but still manages to be very quiet - a word of warning though, the approach from any direction involves steep paths, no good if you have mobility issues. The view is stunning from the breakfast terrace, and the upstairs bedrooms. Philip the host is very accommodating - issues we mentioned to him were sorted where they were within his power Bedding and towels all lovely and fresh / clean, thick towels Disliked · Breakfast - this was very basic (sliced packet bread, 'plastic' ham and cheese, a limited choice of fruit - banana and grapes - and yoghurt, jam and marmalade) - not very appetising so we ate out for breakfast. I would have expected fresh bread / pastries from a bakery at least, with a better selection of pre prepared fruit to go with the yoghurt. The apartment was superficially clean, but needed a 'deep clean' - shower curtain was horrible / grotty and clearly had not been changed for some time - (Philip changed this on request, but it was still an old shower curtain that had been through the washer), The bathroom needs ripping out and replacing - fittings were starting to rust, bath is an old chipped enamel bath that has been touch up with paint, tiling had been filled in various places where fitments had been removed / changed.
