  An excellent hotel to stay

  One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a very long time. You may have to climb some stairs to reach reception but what awaits, is an excellent stay. Good selection for breakfast too. Very good. The whole place is relaxing and quiet. Good selection of shops and transport in surrounding area. I expect to return to Berlin next year and the Hotel Lindenufer will be my first choice. Why go anywhere else, when you find something good?

  Convenient Hotel

  U-bahn (subway) is basically right outside hotel while two S-bahn (train) stations are within short walking distance. Hence easy to travel in/out of Berlin and easy to get to Tegal Airport using this transit (25 minutes - One bus with one stop then 7 U-bahn stops). Hotel is close to Waldbühne if you are attending concert. 3 flights of stairs to climb. No AC, small rooms with small bathroom tolerable but bed mattress comfort was awful!! Small breakfast area - ok selection of items. wifi ok, tv not great quality and no english channels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Town is quaint, a number of shops and restaurants right outside and around hotel area with indoor/outdoor eating (no cars as streets are basically pedestrian only). Nice little town to walk around in. I think the room price was a bit too high for what this hotel offered (there was construction in the courtyard outside our window at 730am in the morning ... noisey machinery... so forget about sleeping in especially when windows need to be open due to hit weather).

  Great location with friendly staff.

  Booked into this hotel as were in Berlin to watch a band at the Zitadelle. Couldnt be any closer to the venue... as in the words of the receptionist it was a cigarettes walk.... the staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags there as We had some time before we left for the airport,rooms are clean with a comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast was great too! Highly recommended.

  Fell in Love with a different side of Berlin

  It was my second time visiting Berlin, and we thought that we would give this hotel a try. We were pleasantly surprised. It was in a different part of town than where we usually stay, but the hotel was close to many of the sites we had mapped out for our trip to Berlin this time around. Spandau is a great district and the hotel was RIGHT on the U-Bahn, which allowed us to explore during the three days that we were there. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, and after a long day of sightseeing, it was great to come back to a quiet room and have a great breakfast the next morning. The staff were friendly and readily answered questions and provided suggestions about what to do in the area. Being an English speaker only, staffs impeccable language skills made it pleasurable to communicate. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  Nice hotel, good position, friendly staff

  Nice small hotel in Spandau, good positioned; metro station just in front of the hotel. As we were supposed to arrive very late and their reception is opened till 21:00 h, we contacted the reception and they kindly gave us all instructions about the parking, nigh safe for keys... The room was really ok and clean but at the last - forth - floor. We don't have problems with last floor but the elevator is under constructions and it was very hard climbing all those straight stairs with all the luggage after long trip. The staff is friendly and helpfull. It is possible to book a hotel parking.
