    Solid, clean, basic small hotel

This hotel's location in smack dab on the BTS system about 15 second walk from the Panom Phrom station--although it is 3 or more stops to the shopping and entertainment areas. I wanted to get out of the uber touristy areas and chose this place. The only foreigners you see are the expats who live here. The immediate neighborhood is nice, but not glitzy--spas, beauty clinics, coffeeshops, grocery stores, English language schools. It is on Sukhumvit, so noise can be a problem if you are facing the road and are a light sleeper. It isn't fancy by any means, but it is VERY clean and the price is good. The only thing I didn't like was the showerhead rained down on the sink and I had to contort myself a bit for a shower. If you are the kind of person who would rather spend your money at the markets all day and only use to room to crash (in other words--ME), this is a great choice.

    not worth staying

I stayed in this hotel for a few night on a business trip to Bangkok, but will never do this again in this hotel. This hotel is genuine Thai wasp nest of gossip and laster. The staff tries to get you into things you do not want to get involved with while the rooms, service and catering is not really up to standard. In a few yards away there are more professional hotels to cater you.

    Not a fan!

Excellent service, position was close to bus station that we needed to get to Koh Samet the following day, basic room of lower than average cleanliness, bathroom was moldy and smelly, working tv, water, wifi.

Nothing puts me off more than a dirty bathroom

The good, close to BTS, and in BKK that means close to most things. Small (pokey) room but the room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. It was next to where I was working and I got a good rate. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The bathroom needed a good scrub. There really is no excuse for mould and soap scum. Better value at the Hotel California 3 BTS stops away. I'm not going back.
