  Bed and Breakfast Lightner Farm House.

  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Steve and Teresa. Steve shared a lot of history as well as Jason who has been associated with house for many years. We appreciated that. The Inn was a short way out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist streets of Gettysburg. Which made it all the more enjoyable. They have some trails around the property which was really nice as well. During this COVID time everything was clean and masks and social distancing were used without too much trouble. The breakfasts were tasty and bedtime cookies enjoyed. Thanks guys

  Beautiful home, property and great innkeepers

  The house and property is so beautiful. We loved getting a chance to walk the grounds, see the wildlife and sit in the rocking chairs reading a book. The room was large and had an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious. Steve and Theresa were a great help recommending tours and places to go. We will be back!

  Wonderful place, view, food, and company!

  My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend and it was our first trip to Gettysburg. The Lightner Farmhouse was so incredibly beautiful and the property was adorable. Steve, Teresa, and Jason were extremely kind and accommodating. As a huge dog lover, I was so excited that we could hang out with their adorable Golden Retriever, Holly. We stayed in the Cedar Room, which had a private entrance and a porch. The room was so cozy and comfortable. We felt so at home. The food was delicious and Steve, Teresa, and Jason were very knowledgeable about Gettysburg. Ask Jason if you want to hear some cool paranormal stories!!! PS - Jason is an excellent chef! We will definitely be going back!

  Ghostly Adventure At The Lightner Farmhouse

  My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 20th Anniversary. As we checked in observing social distancing, we settled into our cozy room (The Cedar Room soon to be The Lincoln Room) however, we were not alone. We definitely had a ghostly encounter after all, this was a makeshift hospital during the civil was. The overall house is quite lovely as you travel back in time. Steve is a history buff and shared the history of The Lightner House. Jason who is the chef, prepared superb breakfast which was served with a warm and friendly smile by Theresa. Due to my dietary restrictions, Theresa and Jason went above and beyond to accommodate me. Overall we had an exceptional weekend and look forward to returning. Thanks to Jason (he's a local) for directing us on places to go. Molly brought it all together and we look forward to returning!

  Home Away from Home

  What a great B&B. Steve & Teresa Bailey (The Inn Keepers) really make you feel at home. The Inn is beautiful and nicely decorated. Steve is a history buff and if he doesn't have the answer for you he will find it for you. All of this and an incredible breakfast. We will absolutely return soon.
