  Wow! Exceptional stay

  We would like to thank Eddie, Gary and Laura for making our stay exceptional. We also want to thank the hostess that packed the breakfast in the morning (apologies for not writing down her name). This hotel was perfect for our 4 day getaway to Key West. The location cannot be beat. You are across the street from the Hemmingway House and next door to the Lighthouse (hence the name of the property). You are a 10-15 minute walk from everything in Key West. The property is gorgeous and well kept. The grounds are beautiful an well manicured. The pool is heated and makes for a relaxing dip, but my favorite feature was the tree swing. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. Yes, the rooms are small, but with older properties in a historic district, that is the reality of the situation. The renovations are well done. Look out for Gary Cooper, the resident cat. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. we have stayed at 6 other properties in Key West, and this is now our top choice when we return to Key West. Why stay here? Location and staff. Also, you are 1 block from Blue Heaven (and you can walk down the side street) Things to be aware of: - The hotel has VERY limited parking. 4 paid parking spots on site @ $20 a day + overflow parking 3 blocks away. If you are fortunate enough there is street parking in front of the hotel and on adjacent streets. - Soundproofing may be an issue. Compared to other properties, neither Whitehead nor Olivia are major thoroughfares, but if you have noisy neighbors, there will be some spillover sound. Again, thank you Kimpton Lighthouse Hotel for giving us an awesome stay!

  Quaint Hotel

  My boyfriend and I took a last minute trip to Key West and discovered this little gem. This hotel is super cute, clean and welcoming. The front desk was friendly and super helpful. The hotel was very clean and private. You didnt even feel like you were in the keys. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Duval street and the beach! I would highly recommend this hotel!

  Amazing Staff. Great hotel

  The hotel is great! The staff is amazing! Adam and Eddie were super helpful and nice. Great central location for Mallory Square and Southernmost area. There is a little pool bar but closes early. Will definitely be returning.

  Not impressed.

  While the front desk staff were fabulous, certain cleanliness factors existed. The pool area(very small) needed policing more often. Dirty cups and garbage remained on tables long after happy hour. Pool towels were scarce and the mini-pool was crowded. The room itself was okay, but could benefit from a more colorful paint palate. The location was great, but I wouldnt stay again.

  Loved this place

  This was the perfect location! The staff was very friendly and helpful, very quaint and home like feel to the entire place. The pool was beautiful, happy hour great. Close to DuVal street and everything you want to see. They have a resident cat Gary Cooper whoe was adorable and super friendly. Even loved the local roosters.....even when they cock-doodle-do at 5:30 am. This was my first time in Key West and I will definitely be back and will stay at the Kimpton Lighthouse again!
