  great hospitalty

  my boyfriend and I have been here many times. With always great food and the bartender Roxy always with a smile did such an amazing job even with training someone, he's lucky to have such an ideal remodel for Clarion Inn We will be coming back!

  FILTHY!!! absolutely disgusting!

  First room we were given had dirty carpets, you could tell it had not been vacuumed. Bathroom floor was "slick" with something greasy and desk chair had a perfect butt imprint with powder all over it! Called front desk asking for immediate refund, but after calling every hotel in town we had to stay there! Maintenance man came up to inspect our room he agreed that it was disgusting and no way could it have been cleaned. Luckily they had another room with a king bed and a pullout couch for the kids. That room was just as bad!!! No phone in room to call front desk, room next to us had a dog that barked NON STOP and when we pulled down the sofa bed there were blood stains all over that mattress, I went down to the front desk AGAIN to complain about the room and had her come up to the room to see the mattress. Yep, she said looks like someone had an accident and laughed and brought us up a mattress pad and linens for the pullout!!! BEWARE THIS HOTEL IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! Never once apologized or offered money off. Everyone we talked to just laughed so I'm assuming that they get so many complaints that it doesn't even phase them anymore! This place seriously needs condemned!

  Pretty dumpy.

  For a place that was great in it's heyday as a Holiday-Inn, this place has really gone downhill. The hotel is old and very worn. The room I had was pretty bad. The bathroom was worn out, the furniture was worn out, the bed had a big sag in it. I was disappointed that I had to pay over $100 for a $50 room.

  Do Not Stay there!

  Where to start! We needed a place to stay when visiting our son who had recently moved to Cedar Falls. Booked this place on-line as it was the closet hotel too him. Lobby is nice but deceiving. The room is something out of the 80's or 90's at best. Dirty and smelly. The pavement outside the entry doorway we were told to use was covered in broken class and vomit. Not to mention, the evening "lock" feature did not work. AC would not cool room, only heat. Shower caulk was moldy, and fixture had rust. Kids running through-out the hotel knocking on doors and glass. Tried calling front desk but phone did not work. Overall bad experience.

  DISGUSTING and DOUBLE CHARGED!!!

  Found used soap and men's underwear in the room. I paid through Priceline and the "in case of incidental card" was charged $80. Place was horrible and disgusting. Wasn't given a receipt and then double charged hoping to sneak it by...AVOID AT ALL MEANS. Also asked for extra shampoo and was given an open bottle.
