  Lovely Modern hotel

  We stayed at Hotel Lido for just 1 night in mid May. It is a modern hotel- the rooms are quite lovely and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony with glorious views of the Adriatic Sea as well as the beautiful countryside. Mid May is a quiet time to travel to the east coast but I would think by summer that this would be the perfect spot to holiday for a week or two. The receptionists were friendly and informative. The breakfast was very nice with a number of options to choose from. The hotel also had it's own large private beach area with easy access and although we only sat and relaxed in the beach chairs, it wasn't hard to imagine having a swim in the crystal blue water but it was far too cold then! There is a lovely promenade with a separate area for cyclists along the entire beach and it made for a very enjoyable walk. There were lots of children's play areas along the way and a number of casual eateries and restaurants where we enjoyed a lovely meal for dinner, Lesley P. .

  Culinary experiance

  If you love italian food visit this hotel. Excelent italian cousine, different types of italian pasta and main courses during the whole week. Very good location, a few steps from the hotel beach. Modern and clean rooms. Very friendly hotel for the kids. As a negative probably only very slow and busy elevators.

  Perfectly situated to watch Stage 8 of the Giro d'Italia!

  We stayed here for one night to watch the start of Stage 8 of the Giro dItalia 2019. The hotel was right on the road on which the race was going to start, although further up at the Tortoreto Lido end. Our room had a sea view and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast spread was ample. Although there was a lovely swimming pool, it was just too cold for us to swim. A buffet selection of either a meat menu or a fish menu was on offer for dinner. However, we decided to eat at the Ristorante Il Palmizzio, a seafood restaurant about 400m down the street. Erika at Reception deserves a special mention and we thank her for all her assistance in dealing with the Punta Blu Office.

  Fantastic dinner!

  Excellent service! Very friendly too! Delicious food. Beautiful and luxurious facilities. Excellent location: you just need to cross the street to go to the beach. Beautiful swimming pool. An excellent place for my family holidays!

  Great Stay

  Stayed for a week in July 2017. A friendly welcome from the reception, rooms nice, spacious and clean with a fridge to use, Wifi in the rooms. Best bit of the holiday was the food - Real Italian food with choices on each course, three courses to a high standard. We spent most of the time on the beach as you get your own allocated sunbed with umbrella.
