Didn't get the full experience, I suppose.I stayed here one night. I had a lot of work to get done during my home time zone (remotely, of course), so I missed dinner. I was also up late working, so I slept past breakfast. The internet connection in the rooms is wired, it works fine FYI. Clean room, the beds were a bit old looking and saggy in the middle, but mostly comfortable. Very quiet, except some dogs barking off and on. Which wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't so warm in the room as I could've kept the window closed. Also, I thought it was closer to Gdansk (otherwise I wouldn't have booked it), but everyone was very helpful and I slept fine.

Not royal, but good nonethelessIn Poland they have their own definition of a 'palace' which differs from the rest of the world. No, this is not a Disney castle with Cinderella dancing in the backyard. But it certainly is a beautiful building and a lovely place to stay if you're aiming for Gdansk. We ended up here because everything in Gdansk was fully booked. The hotel is situated in a little village, about a 20 minute car drive from the city. The place consists of two buildings. The main-building, the one in the pictures, is the restaurant and for apartments. The hotel rooms are in a secondary building. Here you'll find the standard hotel-style furniture with a classic twist. Spacious, comfortable, pretty nice. There's tv, radio and the internet in the room (no wifi, with a wire) is the fastest I've seen in any hotel. In the basement you can use the fitness-equipment, sauna or play a bit of ping-pong. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was up to par and the restaurant in the evening may be quiet, but the food is simply excellent. This is not the kind of hotel where you can spend the day in. Simply not enough to do. We used it to explore Gdansk and it served us well. Keeping us well-rested and comfortable till we were ready to join the crowds of the city again. Just what we were looking for.

brilliant place to chill out close to Gdansk airportThis hotel is run by the local University and the apparent absence of a purely profit driven approach found in most other hotels these days adds to the pleasures of staying here. The place feels grant without being a burden. The restaurant serves brilliant food. Overall a very nice place to spend the night before or after a flight in or out of Gdansk.

Absolutely great! It is a beautiful castle just about 15 minutes from the city centre! We came by car and travelled around Poland by car. Parking is free and our car was secure. Hotel staff-what to say? Brilliant and ready to help in every way! Food is great-there is a choice for everyone. We looooved peace and qiuet! Rooms are clean and bathrooms are spotless...towels are clean! We will be back! Best regards from Croatia!

Place for silence loversGood and silent place in the nature. Rooms a bit oldschool type (radio installed in the bedroom table) but in the end cosy and nice furnitured. We could have breakfast (which was not brilliant, but good enough) in a nice terrace facing the little park. Nice and welcoming staff. Strong 4+ or rather 5. :)
