Great location for hikes, nice rooms, good foodWe stayed here for a couple of days. The rooms have big balconies and are newly renovated. The hotel is just a five minute walk away from the centre of La Clusaz but still quiet. Perfect spot for some great hikes. The food is good but have honestly seen better in other Logis de France-hotels.

For nature loversA great location for touring the town, enjoying the bars and restaurants and 5 minutes walk from the ski lifts. Excellent facilities including a kitchen. The pool was too cold but OK for active swimming. Indoor parking available.

A very good summer base in La ClusazIt was fascinating to go back to this hotel at the end of June, as we last stayed in this same hotel nearly 30 years ago! La Clusaz was a favourite place to take our (young, then) children on summer holidays. The centre is unchanged, but well maintained, and as delightful as it always was, although there has been a lot of building since up the Col Des Aravis Valley. Be aware, though, that La Clusaz largely shuts down between the end of the ski season and late June. The hotel is very well positioned, a few minutes walk up the hill from the centre, in a quiet road; it has a small car park. Our room with a large balcony had a great view over the town and to the mountains. It was a decent size with a comfortable bed, and a excellent well-laid out bathroom (refurbished fairly recently?). The one snag on a very hot weekend was it lacked air conditioning. The pool was out of action, looking as if it was to be renovated. Buffet breakfasts were good. The hotel is still in the same family ownership as 30 years ago, and the staff were very helpful, especially when we didnt arrive until after midnight on the first night, due to a delayed flight.

Well place to stay and dine.We have been at Les Sapins twice ( winter and summer). We had a snack and coffee while exploring the area. The property is clean well taken care of by a family as it seems to me. Our first stop motivated us to repeat it. It is a good place to stay or dine. There is an indoor and out door tables. The area is full of life during winter for skiers.

Excellent ski locationGreat location right on the slopes- easy access to 2 good interlinking lifts! Small very clean 3 star hotel! Warm welcome at reception, cost lounge bar. Booked last minute ski holiday and it worked for us! Highly recommended
