  Loved it!

  We were a group of 20 people on a car tour, and had a dodgy start to our stay, since the hotel had not picked up on dietary requirements for our members - allergies and the like. They were told three months before our arrival, so no excuse. Dinner on the fist night too almost 4 hours with dreadful service and mix ups. Thereafter, with the riot act well delivered, things became a lot better. Dinner was served on time with few mix ups. Watch out if you are offered cheese or bottled water - they may be charged as extras, and might not be included on your menu. No lift, but small girl well adapted to lugging large suit cases up two floors. Easy access rooms available in the grounds. Breakfasts were excellent, with very good scrambled eggs - a rarity in hotels. Our menus (three nights) were heavy with fish and light on meat - but a bit of roast beef on the last night was very welcome.

  Perfect

  Absolutely perfect. Friendly staff. Nice room. Beautiful grounds. The gravel driveway and car park are a bit of a challenge on loaded motorcycles but hey. Definitely stay again. The town is quaint and the river is a perfect place to sit and chill out.

  Avoid this Hotel

  The hotel room was totally impractical and impossible to use with two floors linked by a dangerous narrow spiral staircase. Dusty and dirty and we only received maid service once in four nights. The glass table In the room was dangerous. There were fish in a pond downstairs in the room -totally bizarre. Breakfast is a non event no service no food of any substance and basics such hot water or eggs frequently missing etc. There was no one serving! When asking reception to book a table at a restaurant the receptionist said she wasnt available. In general service was there for non resident restaurant guests whilst hotel guests were an after thought. This is not a Hotel it is a very expensive restaurant with rooms. Also very poor internet. It was also the most expensive Hotel we have stayed in in 10 years travelling France and also the worst and we stay 4 star. A horrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

  Great atmosphere, beautiful location and dedicated service

  Laetitia and Maeva did an amazing job at hosting our family birthday last weekend. Extremely collaborative, patient, and hard working, the entire team did everything to accomodate for the entire evening. I most definitely recommend this charming place for a short get away from Paris. Thanks again to the team at Jardin d'Epicure. Edouard

  Good place for overnight near Giverny

  We spent one night, family of four - stayed in a lovely large suite with an upstairs for the kids. Nice grounds with river running alongside and picturesque bridge. Delicious dinner in the restaurant, the service was good despite what some of the reviews say. Also the receptionist was very helpful and obliging. Breakfast was simple but fairly typical of smaller continental hotels. Convenient location for a short trip to Giverny.
