  family holiday

  We had a wonderful family stay and we highly recommend the hotel . The rooms are big and very comfortable and we found the food excellent . The swimming pool was enjoyed by everyone . We found the staff very helpful and would love to return !

  It meets international standards

  In France, most of resort hotels are as they were 40 years ago. Les Jardins de lAtlantique meets international standards. For example, the restaurant is a buffet. You can select what you want to eat at the rhythm you prefer. Moreover, our room was very nice. It had a large window and balcony. The staff is very professional and they are always ready to help you. The food is excellent. It is based on good basic products. Most of customers are French, but the hotel deserves to have more international guests. There are some weaknesses that can be corrected if the hotel has more demanding visitors: the wifi is not working and the equipment of the fitness room is out of order. Indeed, it is always empty. The nearest beach is located at 2 kms from the hotel.

  Avoid this hotel

  We stayed for one night with our granddaughter who is 3 years old. Arrived but no one on the reception waited a while. Unfriendly staff did not interact with us at all. Room in need of modernisation, tired and dark decor. No food available when we arrived and couldnt find anywhere local to eat. Restaurant open in evening but very little choice , food tasteless but expensive. Drinks over priced. Breakfast basic. My granddaughter shared our food but we were still charged for her. Probably the most unfriendly hotel Ive ever stayed I did send message to hotel prior to this review but had no response. Avoid this hotel!

  The worst hotel on the planet!

  After 25+ years to travelling the world I'm able to say with some confidence that I have found the worst hotel imaginable. The only issue is that I don't have the time or the inclination to write about everything that's wrong with the dump, so I'll go for a simple list: Filthy - like, really disgustingly filthy. Tatty, dated and massively in need to a complete overhaul! It stinks of cigarette smoke everywhere, including in the rooms No TV channels...really...zero. Stained and smelly bed linen None of the gym equipment works...not a single piece, which is some achievement! The floor is more comfortable than the rock hard bed, assuming you can look beyond the questionable stains on the bed linen. The wifi works sometimes. That's being extremely generous! The food is awful...just revolting. Overcooked, bland, tasteless and unpleasant. The walls are so thin I'm pretty sure I could hear people breathing in the next room. One elevator for the entire hotel...one! The public space toilets are so old the taps are operated by a foot pedal! I kid you not!! The list goes on, but to be honest, I'm getting depressed recounting how awful the place is. If you're faced with 2 options; stay at this hotel or sleep on the street in a cardboard box, take some time to consider your options.
