    Friendly Staff

We arrived from Spain on the 17th of July and stayed over a week but decided to extend it for one more day as everything was really nice (but the weather sometimes). The cabin was clean, spacious and full equipped and was specially quite over the night. The swimming pool and lakes are about 5 min walk and many activities are always delivered by the staff during the week. Visiting villages, farms and markets are always a good option for a rainy day. Special thanks to Arnaud (Responsable de la residence) and his assistant for being so nice to us and our son. We'll definitely go back soon! Juan, Vanessa y Nico

good value + friendly staff + good nice location and as a extra , swimming lake + pool + games + very calm

we were with 6 people that is the reason that it was good value even in full season . We asked to be in a place were there is a lot of shadow which we got . All of us were happy about the choice we made .We were happy not to be in a hotel locked up between 4 walls be to stay in a forest area . The wooden house was clean well equipped with 2 tables with 12 chairs one lot to be put outside on the exterieure terras . For a surplus you could have airco (we did not use it) but as we were under the trees at night we could sleep with open windows and doors (nights were refreshing). There were no musquitos and it was very quiet except the songs of some frogs. The equipment was very good , frigo and half-top deep-freezer. coffee machine ,baking plates, micro wave, dish washer + coocking + cleaning utensils etc . bathroom with shower , 2 bedrooms and one coach in the living room with 2 places to sleep the matras + space was very good . There is a bbq at the reception but you have to bring your own charcoal. We enjoyed the swimming lake with a real white sandy beach the most and you could use it from early morning untill late evening .we were there at the end of June and the beginning of July.I recommend this place if you have to visit Montauban and if you like to be outside the city .It is the best value if you have to stay with a group of 4 to 6 peoples. If you clean the place before you leaf there is no surplus cost connected with you stay.We were all happy of our stay. with 6 people the cost was about 11 Euros per person per day. Only minus is that you are allowed to enter with one car into the site even though we were with 2 cars but there were tollerant about that . But we had parking space next to the house .

    Good, basic holiday cottage

Spacious cottage well shaded in woodland (avoid the park extension on a hill top with no shade) We had a disabled access (PRM) cottage #37 which would not suit someone with severe disabilities but was fine for us. Mobility scooter could just cope with the hill up to the cottage from swimming pools. These are not luxury cottages but a good quality basic self catering accommodation with adequate crockery, cutlery and pans (except tin opener) though cooking is limited to two rings and small microwave/grill A car is essential since Monclar de Quercy is quite a long drive from other attractions and the property would be a longish walk from the village. Swimming pools are maintained by the village so far better than would be normal for a holiday park but were extremely crowded at the weekend Location was good, with pleasant countryside view from cottage. Quiet apart from some noise from the swimming. A good relaxing break. Cottage lacked any comfortable seating, a couch or recliners would have been nice. A BBQ would have improved the cooking facilities We enjoyed walking along the canal at Montauban, touring the Gorges de L'Aveyron and visiting the local villages especially Puycelci, Bruniquel and Saint Antonin Noble Val

    Mobilhome poco agradable

    Keep looking!

We have stayed in a variety of lodging in multiple countries, including manufactured homes, cabins, and RVs. This was by far the worst we have ever stayed in! The whole place seems like its a house of cards. It was a bit windy our first night (not a tempest, by any means) and the whole chalet rattled all night long, making it impossible to get a decent nights rest. The bathroom floor had obviously been repaired in a shoddy fashion, leaving a substantial tripping hazard near the door. Instead of fixing it properly the hazard was just covered with vinyl. The beds leave a lot to be desired, the quality of the mattress was very poor. We brought our own bedding from home and, after seeing the quality of the duvets (and dubious cleanliness) we were glad we did! All of the signage is exclusively in French. This is not a problem for us but a large, presumably international place like this should make at least some effort at basic explanations in multiple languages. Granted the base rental rate is low but EVERYTHING is an supplemental charge (TV remote, bedding, towels, even the AC!) so, for the same money you would be better off getting a room in one of the local hotels.
