  Little sleep

  Quite well located near lifts that take you over to Pra Loup and not far from La Foux d'Allos main station - best to go to nearest lifts and then ski down there. There is a shuttle that stops outside if you prefer. Free parking at the apartments. Very basic apartments, not particularly clean and not very well maintained. Uncomfortable mattresses, rather thin and soft. Have to provide own bed linen or pay a supplement. Even then only blankets are provided, didn't see a quilt. Not practical for short stays. Wifi is only available in reception and is not particularly good. Worst aspect was the lack of soundproofing and there was noise until 3-4 am both nights we were there. On the positive we were able to check out at 5pm. You have to clean the kitchen area for short stays but at least a cleaning kit is provided. Also a nice view from the balcony. We didn't use the pool area.

  Correct experience without charme

  The residence is not different from what you could find in a big city: an enormous building packed with appartments. The room (a T3) is nice and comfortable, but the furniture are beaten up from the many people coming here. A table with a broken leg, the fridge with a broken top, a lot of marks on the walls... This residence welcome families and children can break many things, but the owners could fix the things (also because if you break anything you will pay, but the money it does not seem to be spent to repair...) Apart from that you can stay comfortably, rooms are ok. Depending on where you want to go, you will be far away from the village and shopping is non-existent. You will have to take your car to move around. Forget the charme of a mountain chalet: this is a residence for families on a budget.

  Ski Trip

  This residence has been deeply anchored in my memory for its lack of... basically everything: nice staff, clean & fixed rooms are nowhere to be seen. Despite having personnel to complain excessively at your door for every single noise may it be a simple door closing, they are unable to keep a pair of keys at the reception. In addition, beware if you own more than 4 pairs of ski/snow as the lockers were designed to stock no more than your average piou-piou skis. In short, the staff is unpleasant, arrogant and incompetent. The rooms are mere mirrors of the staff (ventilation that falls apart, disproportionate sheets-to-bed, broken bed slats). However despite all this the one and only positive was the location which is a tiny 5min walk from the slopes and the great weather meant we spent most of the time outdoors-fortunately.

  The worst service and very poor organization.

  On the day of arrival and leave: there was no arranged baggage storage for anyone. 2 innocent girls at receptions could not do anything because their boss instructed them not to give in. And worse: their rude boss was unwilling to help, and even yelling to other guests that this is not his problem. At checkout, we could not give the key to our apartment back before a certain time, for bureaucratic reasons I guess. After this time we had to wait at the reception for more than an hour before they could give our deposit back because they obviously had more rooms to check. At hours of arrival and leave, while we were waiting, they closed the lobby so we could not even take a seat. The room looked clean at first but there were matresses with blood stains on them. Gross. I hope some french inspection will pick up on this. In addition, they claim this apartment was suitable for 6. With 3 it was already overcrowded.

  Only for the slope access

  This was a last-minute booking in a resort we didn't know. Main reason for choosing it was the close proximity to the slopes. Staff on the desk tried to be helpful, given the volume of guests and a language barrier. Apartment was in a poor condition with damaged seating. Bedding was a blanket, no duvet and the mattresses terribly thin and the singles very small for an adult. General cleanliness was poor as well. Access to the town centre is by bus until 1930, after that it is a 15-20min walk. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. The very definition of poor budget accommodation.
