  Pequeño y cuco

  El hotel está ubicado cerca de la zona de ocio y de la playa, así como de la oficina de turismo. La habitación era bastante grande, permitía el alojamiento de hasta cuatro personas. El salón para desayuno y cena era bonito, y el trato fue muy correcto y amable. Buen punto de partida para hacer excursiones a lo largo de la Cataluña francesa (Cotlliure, Salses, Perpignan,...).

  Confortable beds, clean, excellent dinners

  It's a good "Logis de France", much better than I was expecting after reading some Tripadvisor reviews. We stayed 12 nights in a room facing the street (but double windows prevent any noise from it). It had a small balcony, good to leave things to dry up. Very clean room, perhaps a bit small, but ingeniously setup. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast, including orange squash you can prepare yourself and a choice of both home-made cakes and industrial items. Bathroom was brand new, only bad point was actually the bathroom sliding door, too noisy to use during the night without waking everybody up. Owners are very friendly, helpful and professionals: they acquired the hotel only 2 years ago and are studying and making a lot improvements: they clearly put their heart in the job. Excellent dinners: always different and always good, and if you don't like the dish of the day, they are ready to propose you something else. You also get an amuse-bouche to start with, an entry dish that is often a dinner in itself, and a delicious dessert (we didn't succeed in trying them all!) Good position: 5 minutes nice walk to the seaside, through the pine wood.10 minutes walk to reach the tourism office and the main shopping area and evening market, 15 minutes more to reach the port.

  Good hotel close to beach excellent restaurant

  The hotel is located short walk from a great beach and the amusement centre in Argeles-sur-mer. Family owned small hotel. The chef is the hotel owner. The owners are friendly and service minded. The food served is of high quality and moderately priced. Rooms can be small but they are clean.

  Nice hotel close to beach.

  A charming hotel in a seaside tourist town, although we were there out of season, only 150m from the beach. The room was small (not much bigger than the ensuite bathroom) which was OK for a one night stopover but would not have wanted to spend any length of time there. Hotel is well located, clean and suited our purpose. The husband and wife owners were charming, friendly and very helpful, as were the other staff we encountered. Dinner in the restaurant was good and excellent value. Buffet breakfast was good and as well as the normal cheeses, breads and meats also offered a selection of home made cakes and pastries. I do not usually eat cakes and puddings but in the interest of research tried a few of them; absolutely wonderful, even had second helping of some. All in all we enjoyed our night at Les Charmettes although Argeles-sur-Mer is not a place to which I would return.

  Cycling in Alsace

  10 of us from all parts of the world met for a cycli g holiday in Kayersberg. The Logis Hotel Ramparts could not have been more welcoming. They helped with restaurant bookings, looked after a member of our party who broke their arm and just looked after us well. The breakfasts were good. The room were clean and comfortable. A good place to stay
