  Comfortable enough, but a bit dated

  We stayed one night in a very spacious room, but the furnishings felt a little dated. No complaints about the comfort of the beds, and our room at the back meant things were pretty quiet. Breakfast was a fairly standard buffet; evening meal was better, with nicely done regional specialities (in generous portions). Staff were busy, but helpful.

  Great Choice in Murau

  Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The guest house has a large dining room and we enjoyed eating here on 2 of our nights as well as for breakfast. Friendly family run place. Good location with short walk to historic town center. No problem finding a parking spot in the lot or just down the street. Not sure about the 4 star hotel rating but I would certainly recommend staying here and would do so again should we return.

  Well worth a visit

  A relaxed friendly atmosphere Excellent value for money, The food was cooked to perfection, absolutley mouth watering and really good sized portions. The desserts were beautiful and the Kurbis oil on the icecream along with Chestnut Tiramisu complimented it so well. A big THANKYOU to the Chef who created this meal for us, we enjoyed every bit of it. We would definatley recommend this place and will definatley return.

  Great Restaurant!

  Came there on the way through. Right off the main street. The restaurant looked very charming from the street. Seating outdoors under the tree. Sun in the face. Inside it's very charming. The owner immediately got up and was very friendly. To eat we ordered lunch special, which comes with a salad bar. soup and main dish. Great local beer. There is also a hotel on the premises. This is one of those places that are just amazing. Unassuming and great local Austrian cuisine, freshly prepared and delicious. It's also a hotel.

  everything fine (except you are disabled)

  had a nice afternoon-stop, sitting in the sun next to the street (shadow on the other side of the restaurant from about 1 pm on). fine food, also the drinks, the espresso was not convincing, unfortunately (too much water, tasted "burned"). toilet-ralley isn't much fun!
