  Value for money & highly recommend to anyone will be travel to Niigata

  Stayed 2 nights at Juraku Stay Niigata & don't miss the breakfast which included many choices & selections. It's delicious and the price of hotel room rates compared with other hotel at these area are cheaper & value for money.

  A Nice Surprise

  Enjoyed my 5 night stay here on business. Hotel is about 5 minutes from Niigata Station. I called ahead to make sure I had a non-smoking room and the staff obliged. Best things about this hotel are the following: Excellent breakfast, Western and Japanese. Some of the dishes change daily and are plentiful. Laundry, its free and they have washers and driers on two floors. You have to pay for detergent or bring your own. Found the driers to be not so strong though, keep your laundry to a minimum if you want to dry it quickly. Rooms, very nice and good WiFi. Air con can be strong but can be controlled. You dont need to leave your card to keep things charged. Rooms have a fridge and extension cord should you need it. I had no problems with noise and had a corner room. Found the staff to be very friendly, some speak English if you need and helpful. Many popular restaurants within walking distance. Convenience stores are close as well. The only criticism about my stay, was that I could not send my case home via Yamato Transport, the only alternative was Sagawa, delivery option was much slower. Also, Ive found them to be bad in my experiences. I was able to use Yamato through the hotel opposite though. This is a good hotel and I hope to stay again. Quick tip, you can get rental cycles from a place down some stairs, opposite Yodobashi Camera. ¥200 to join, then ¥100 for 3 hours. Great for cycling to the beach and check out the beach bars and take a dip. Niigata is a nice city to cycle around. Down by the river is nice too. If you like Sake, you can do tasting inside the station. Ask the hotel staff about that. This hotel is highly recommended, enjoy!

  Clean, spacious, reasonably priced and yummy breakfast!

  Hotel was about 10mins walk. Took me a bit longer with my suitcase and during rain as I couldn't find any undercover walkway. Stayed at 2 different rooms to and from staying at the Sado Island. Had my suitcase stored in the hotel in between. Both rooms were spacious, clean and comfy and no issue with noise. One room was actually near the laundry room but did not have any issue at all. Staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel was their breakfast, make sure you give it a try!

  Old but clean! Breakfast is excellent

  Hotel is old but clean. Bed is a bit hard. Room is spacious. Breakfast is just 1000 yen which is cheap as there were variety of food. It is delicious. You must try if you d like local japanese food. Also provide few western food.

  It is very good hotel for budgeted travellers. The room size is reasonable. The breakfast is good especially with wide varietybof food choice and good quality also. It costs only 50k yen including breakfast. What can I say?
