  Perfect!

  Just returned from an amazing 1 week stay here. Our room was on the 6th floor, cleaned everyday with fresh towels and the sea view is insane. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, they always had a smile and would do anything for you! The measures in place for Covid safety were great, everyone wore masks moving through the hotel, and in restaurants (until seated). Everyone also worse disposable gloves to get their food at the self serve which I thought was great, I didnt see anyone at all not wearing them! There was lots of space everywhere as the hotel wasnt to full capacity which was good. We are not big drinkers but love a cocktail by the pool, the frozen daiquiris and Caribbean were our favourite. Due to the new Covid curfew that was announced the hotel even filled your mini bar daily with wine, beer etc. Breakfast and lunch were really good, so much choice! Only slight let down was the evening buffet, we ended up eating out a couple of times at night. This didnt bother us as we like going out and the hotels in walking distance from some lovely restaurants and sports bars if you want to watch the football! We did notice out of all of the hotels on the sea front, this one had the best beach! We walked along the sea front to the harbour and the others either didnt have one or were very rocky so you get the best of both worlds for beach and pool. All in all amazing and we will be returning!

  Week away in Paphos!

  Me and my fiancé have recently got back from a week stay at the Leonardo Plaza. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. During our stay we felt very safe. The pool area was very relaxing. We chose sun beds on the grass section with the palm trees which had a lovely view out towards the sea. We did Aqua Zumba, aerobics and yoga whilst there, and the instructors were all so friendly. The food was very good and there was a wide selection. We had two meals at the a la carts restaurants. The Asian restaurant was very good and the service was smooth. The only slight negative was the Greek restaurant. At the Greek restaurant there seemed to be a problem as our booking didnt seem to be on their list. However we were seated fairly quickly and were given some e. However the main issue with the Greek restaurant was the portion sizes. Normally I can eat larger portions, but I really struggled! we were given 3 Courses which were all very large so we opted out of 4th course which was dessert. I think the portion sizes should be made smaller and also what is being offered made clearer (we werent given a menu). Other couples around us also seemed to struggle with the amount of food. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

  Beautiful Hotel, Pool, Beach and Rooms

  Stayed here with some friends for a weekend away in September. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The buffets are very tasty and the room are very clean and spacious. Beachfront property and pools are all the more reason to go. Situated very close to the downtown Paphos area and beach town. I can't wait to come back.

  Just what we needed

  So in need of a holiday so welcomed the opportunity to get away for our first visit to Cyprus and the Cyril Maris. Hotel was recommended and we had a lovely time. Weather was perfect, hotel very trendy attracting a range of interesting guests - check out Instagram ! Beautiful breakfasts. Lovely lunches. Not quite so sure about the evening meals; absence of any show cooking which I enjoy in Spanish hotels. That said there is a Greek and Asian restaurant available to book which makes a change from the buffet restaurant Drinks fine on AI but you can upgrade to have access to premium spirits and a fuller range of cocktails. My daughter loved the strawberry daquaris. There is a beautiful pool, small swim up bar and pool bar open until 6 and some animation, Yoga, pool aerobics. A little beach is a bonus and the hotel provide sunbeds and umbrellas and water sports for a charge which can be be enjoyed either participating or just watching. Evening entertainment was vocalists in the restaurant or a disco which was very quiet on the one occasion we visited but I suspect in other times this would be very busy. Lovely holiday, warm welcomes at reception and every day from the young ladies who managed the restaurant and the waiting staff were never short of a smile. Thank you all at Cypria Maris.

  Outstanding Staff

  I went for a week on 16th October. Overall a great experience made so by the staff. Special mention to Attila in the bar who remembered my daily order without prompting. Joanna, Christina and Karolina at restaurant check in, Andri who always had a warm welcome and the staff in the restaurant who went to the trouble of getting an espresso to add to my coffee. Maria in the spa gives a wonderful full body massage, However Lina who spent two hours correcting a bad hair cut comes top for me. The Covid 19 protocols are everywhere in evidence. Loads of sanitizers, temperature checks twice daily, gloves to wear at the buffet. Signage everywhere and of course the wearing of masks. I normally eat out a few times when All inclusive as I usually find the food repetitive but even though I extended my stay by a further week I was still finding new salads to try. I would highly recommend this hotel. I did not travel outside the hotel although I normally would. I will have to do that on my return!
