  Nice

  It is in a very useful central location. There is very welcome on site free parking, spaces are a little tight but that's quite normal and not a problem. The reception area was welcoming and the receptionist most helpful. The room was fine for the purpose but would be a little small if there for 3-4 days perhaps. It was well appointed and in this weather the aircon was good (but too noisy to sleep with). It's hard to comment on food as C19 has affected hotels badly. The choice was very limited but was OK. Beer was very expensive. Overall, pleasant, nice staff, does the job well.

  COVID-19 Secure

  It was a great location, staff were friendly and great value. This was the first time I was staying in a hotel after COVID-19, very impressed and felt safe with Jury's Inn. The breakfast was a snack bag delivered to outside our room over night with a hot roll collected from reception.

  Jurys Inn, a hotel I would like to return to.

  After reading some of the unflattering reports of peoples experiences I was really impressed with the way the staff made us feel very welcome and safe. They were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and very clean. The waiting staff in the Dining room were very professional, Jeff and the team very friendly and helpful. Tables of two properly separated as required by Covid ruling. We had a lovely cooked breakfast bought to the table and also were given a pack up in carrier bag in place of cereals which are usually served buffet style in dining room. This consisted of a choc croissant, fruit, yogurt & bottle of freshly squeezed orange. Very welcome on our coach tours to Durham, Beamish & Whitby. All these places within an hour of the hotel in Middleborough. Our long week-end was organised by Just Go Holidays, which usually provide us with great accommodation.

  Disappointed

  I have stayed at this hotel many times for business and not being disappointed, however on this occasion it failed to live up to expectations. I have stayed in many hotel chains during the lockdown and they have either offered room service or atleast a hot breakfast delivered to your room. I feel that the hotel charging you £11 for a continental breakfast which was below par was not what I expected from this hotel. The continental breakfast was terrible, no fruit, a frozen pastry and bottle of water... I expected better than this considering other hotel groups during lockdown has provided better.. on a positive note, the rooms were very clean and the hotel staff friendly and helpful regarding take aways and accommodating with cutlery. I will stay at this hotel again as it is great during normal operation.

  A very good stop over

  The hotel is very accessible with parking just next to the hotel. Well located and just a short walk to shops and pubs. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very clean and laid out well. Rooms were good with everything you would expect from a jurys. All round a good stop over.
