  I Sunil Kalia with my wife was on holiday trip to dehradun and as such booked lemon tree hotel for four days 15 Jan 21 Checkin 17 jan 21 check out again 20 jan 21 checkin and 22 jan 21 check out room with breakfast and dinner through hotel website on arrival at the hotel on 15 jan 21 we were helped by the bell desk for offload our luggage at the main gate then at the front office we were greeted by Shri SHUBHUM very good guy and Mr deepak they checkedin us in no time we were given upgraded room no 519 the room was very big & comfortable in the night during dinner time we were attended by Mr ROHIT who is very good boy and arranged to provide us all our three course dinner requirements once again in the morning during breakfast we were attended by F&B Manager Shri AMAL he also took very good care of us by meeting all our requirements travellers to Dehradun may consider hotel Lemon tree for their stay based on my experince if they wish

  Worst Experience !!

  Lemon tree is very renowned brand thats why we booked lemon tree hotel Dehradoon but unfortunately it was our bad Decision. They give us handicapped room initially in which washroom are dirty. After complaining they change the room but seriously how can you give handicapped room to a couple. Secondly they have pathetic breakfast buffet no choice you dishes you will get there its very limited. Its not justified the amount you pay there. Thirdly we ordered food from room service and they were serving omelette and paratha with soup spoon like seriously who eat omelette with a soup spoon ? No fork No knife . Never order tea from them it is wastage of money. There f n b department are also worsened.

  Very accessible location and very restful hotel.

  We had booked this hotel as a stopover for our trip to Kedarnath. Inspite of being on a busy main road and adjacent to a popular mall, this hotel was amazingly peaceful and restful. The rooms were huge and had a spectacular view. We got an amazing deal on the two rooms we booked; very worth the price. The check in and service was prompt and efficient. Mr, Pankaj at the reception was helpful. Utmost care was taken in covid times and it sported a clean and hygienic environment. There was no buffet breakfast served as per the prevailant rules at that time, for covid safety. Instead breakfast on order(limited menu) was sent to the rooms. The menu was also sent on whatsapp, so there was no physical menu required. It seemed strange at that time but it was most hygienic. The beds were very comfortable and restful. The mall was adjoining to the hotel and easily accessible. It was pre Diwali time so there was a festive atmosphere. Had a pleasant stay.

  Bad service this time

  Not good experience this time due to : 1. No centralized heating..either to keep off the AC or to bear the cooling in winter. 2. WiFi not connected first time, but hotel front staff didn't bother to come and check even after called twice. 3. I took MAP plan and only order dal and rice. Who is denying jeera rice, it's a matter of few minutes to fry. finally got plane rice. Lemon tree always know with the high level of hospitality but they need to look into the above seriously.

  Highly recommended

  At the entrance met with Mr. Tapan Beniwal with warm welcome and smile. He came to us immediately and helped us to park our car at very safe place and his security guard help us with luggage handling and sanitazation, which was superb.They were very trained, how to handle the guests if they're coming from long distance and tired. The checkin procees was made easy and smooth by Mr Deepak and Ashish. They made our stay memorable by upgraded room with a good view which was surprised, all the staff are very courteous, polite and well trained, food was served in restaurant was amazing and delicious, again welcomed by Mr Amal, Rohit and Citrus team was very attentive and great service provided by them. In the morning breakfast which was made by Mr Ranveer, great taste, Room was very specious, neat and clean, Next day on checkout met again Mr Tapan, he asked for any assistance. We promised him to come again very soon in lemon tree dehradun. Would like to thanks each and every staff of lemon tree hotel dehradun who was very attentive and keen to serve and help each n every guest and made our first visit was memorable. Last but not the least special thanks to Gen Manager Mr Amit Pundir, under his supervision each n every member of his hotel doing a great job. Keep growing.
