  Enjoyed our stay

  Stayed one night on a road trip around Colorado. Got a good rate, very pleased with our room, it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The blind in the bedroom was not room darkening , lots of light coming in, I like it dark. Free laundry room was great. Madison at the front desk could not have been nicer. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Great Location, Great Amentities, but needs some updating

  I stayed here for three nights. The location is great and is right near the ski hill. Although it is not walking distance. The rooms had a lot of good amenities like a full kitchen, a common area, and enough bathrooms. I booked a two bedroom suite which is basically two rooms with a door separating it. There are two hot tubs and saunas in each bathroom which was nice also. I will say these rooms need some updating. The fixtures in the bathroom are old along with the tub/shower surround. The carpet was frayed with a few stains. So you get a good value but the rooms need help. The common areas look updated.

  Reservation Mix Up and Forced Upgrade

  Unfortunately during my stay, we had reservations at Suites (confirmed by email) but were told that our reservation was at Hilltop. Upon arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded rooms but that we would be charged for it, and that we could not receive the room we had originally reserved. Despite having strong recommendations from friends, my stay was less than glowing. Putting all of that aside for a moment, the rooms were nice, clean, and conveniently located.

  Rooms and stay ok, but nothing fancy. Nothing

  The rooms were rather dated and the kitchen stove was very hard to use. Pots and pans falling apart and you could not read the temperature dials, to which the front desk supplied me a picture of the actual dials for reference..... pretty odd. But.....With that said the rate was very reasonable so I did not bother me too much. The one problem I really had was the shuttle. I rented a car bc of covid I expected this could be a problem, but after skiing several days we waited over an hour for a shuttle ride from the mountain back to the resort. Again, understanding covid but as we waited and watched other hotels coming and going every 10-15 minutes it was very frustrating. If when calling we got an honest answer on timing we could have done other things or skied a little longer etc. We were continuously told it would arrive any minute. Also, we were told at checkin our rooms would not be serviced during the one week stay, which again I was fine with but was very hard to get towels as the front desk... they did not always have them or very few. Lastly my teenage daughter witnessed another guest experiencing a severe reaction to too much chlorine in the pool which she said the staff cared little about and did very little to rectify. After this we did not use the pool or hot tub at all.

  Wonderful stay, wonderful location, wonderful staff

  We came across Legacy Steamboat online and I am so thankful that we were able to stay here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The amenities were great. The loft room was so much better than the typical hotel room. I will definitely stay here again.
