  very old place, good location

  Leblon flat service is a very old building with only 20 apartments for rental. Each one is different and the decoration depends on the interest of the owner. When we arrived at the first apartment we got very disappointed because the furniture was really old and the bathroom dark and small. Then we asked for another room and we got a better place with a beautiful viem of the Sugar Loaf and the Lagoon. The place is very well located, just beside a very good and brand new mall and pretty close to restaurants, stores and also at a walking distance from Ipanema.

  Very tired rooms, untrustworthy management

  Had booked 3 rooms here for ourselves and 2 other families all going to a wedding. Booked us a 2 bed flat for us for 2 adults (10 nights), 2 teenagers (8 nights), turned up only had a single bedroom and a fold out double. They admitted was their mistake. All sorts of excuses, said they would change the room before the teenagers arrived in 2 days time but 12 hours later changed their mind. Very untrustworthy. Our agent checked the paperwork which was all in order. We ended up changing hotels altogether. Room and common rooms (breakfast room) exceptionally tired and dated. Looks like no maintenance done in the past 10 years. Very noisy from 24 hour air conditioning units working in next door "Leblon Shopping". The two nights we did stay had nearby flats being buzzed at 2 am both nights. Very simple breakfast which was passable. Very dated TV has cable, but limited package of local channels. No wi-fi. Flat has crockery and cutlery but no pots and pans so why bother with the kitchen and crockery? Overpriced and exceptionally unhelpful service bordering on the 'couldn't care less'. Avoid like the plague.

  Small rooms but Location is excellent for family with young children

  Although some appartments are a bit small and do not provide convenient appliances (such as microwave, internet access, 21 century tv etc.) the building offers excellent amenities (restaurant opened from 7 am til 10 pm non stop, laundry services, hair salon, daily cleaning service, etc) and is located in a great location, accross restaurants, two shopping centers, two blocks away from the supermarket zona sul etc, which help quite a bit. The building is also 5 walking minutes (2 blocks) from the beach. Request a nice appartment unit and you will enjoy both the ocean view as well as the lagoa. Don't hesitate to request booking assistance from the bui;ding concierge who can reserve almost anything Rio has to offer. You are also within walking distance (2 minutes) from Scala music theatre featuring local singing celebrities and (8 minutes) from Plataforma (a must if you've never been to the musical, a bit pricey -R130, but the show is excellent and the food (not included is great as well)

  Excellent location

  The rooms are all right. The air conditioning system is very good and this is a "must" in Rio. The kitchen had everything needed in case you want to cook. But what is incredible is the location. Three blocks from the beach, half a block from Leblon Shopping mall which has great brands and variety and the neighbourhood is one of the best in Rio (I have been several times in different hotels and areas). It is good for single people and families as well. The swimming pool is OK. Breakfast is good but not as abundant as in other hotels. I must insist that the location is perfect.

  Superó mis expectativas

  Si tienen dudas sobre qué barrio elegir para hospedarse en Rio, Leblon es la respuesta. La ubicación del edificio es simplemente inmejorable. Está literalmente al lado del Shopping Leblon, el barrio es muy seguro, se puede andar tranquilo de noche y tiene todo tipo imaginable de negocios al rededor. Desde el piso 12 la vista te quita el aliento. No tengo palabras para describir lo maravilloso de este edificio.
