Very nice hotel in very nice townI've stayed only 1 night in this old mansion in town centre which is nicely maintained and furnished. I've not eaten at the hotel so can't rate the restaurant. But the rooms are clean with plenty of space, good sleeping quality.

DisappointedVery disappointed with this hotel. We stayed in this hotel on business travel in April 2015 following a recommendation. Unfortunately it turns out the hotel has changed ownership in the last year or so and the quality of the service, food and the hotel in general has dramatically dropped as a result. I will not stay there again.

a very unwelcome welcomeI've never felt more unwelcome. Door to the reception was locked upon arrival. The place looked deserted. After wandering around for awhile (door to the annexe was open), we decided to phone the hotel. No explanation or apology just a 'I will be there in a minute'. We got our bag from the car and as we walked backed to the reception the door opened and a gentleman came out and met us in the driveway, handed us a key and pointed towards the annexe. The room was ok and so was the bed. It was difficult to shower and not soak the whole bathroom. Breakfast was served in the main building, which was actually quite nice (breakfast as well as the building...) But at 12 pp is was more expensive than our delicious kebab dinner around the corner in the Rue Victor Hugo.

3 star that is a 4 star MINIMUM!!!!I have travelled on business for the last 18 years all over Europe and resided in 2-5 star accommodation subject to availability. This first trip to this region in France my colleague identified this hote for two nights accommodation. Upon arrival you are met by a beautiful building and hope that what lies within the exterior matches ones expectations- This hotel does not let you down once you go through the door. I was greeted at reception by a charming cheerful lady ( albeit circa 8pm at night) who quickly checked me in and I went to my room 203. The grandeur of this room ( based on a three star grading) blew me away - absolutely gorgeous interior and very opulent! The bathroom look as they have had a refurb amd were very modern in contrast to the bedroom but this works superbly well and again the interior design should warrant this hotel with min 4 star grading. I then visited the hotel restaurant- which can only be described as a culinary fantastic experience. From the exceptional customer service from the ladies and gentleman that were waiting on to the mouthwatering meals delivered by the very talented chef!!! I even requested an iron at 930 to ensure my work shirts were all organised for the morning ahead and the very polite staff offered to provide laudry service for the very next morning! This fantastic hotel one which i will return to Must be your place to reserve when in this area ! Well done to the proprietors - you have a winning formula and I will certainly see you again when I return to this region in France !! Superb !!!!!

Typical FrenchI had one overnight stay. The reception looked quit a mess, but I was welcomed friendly in English. Some wooden noisy stairs took me to my room on the 2nd floor. At first sight I taught my bed was covered with stains until I noticed that the chandelier was full with dust creating shadow clouds on my bed. Awkward. A complimentary coffee machine with some coffee and tea cups was present in the room. To have good (free) wifi, I had to sit close to the door. In the restaurant I enjoyed a 3 course menu for 20. As starter I took the smoked salmon, followed by a white fish (sea bass I believe) with prawns cooked and served in a bowl. Finally an expresso served with 3 small dessert cakes. This diner was really worth the money and highly recommended for both business as family affairs.
