  Super nice!

  New, clear, comfortable and well located. All the description is correct (TV, internet, mini bar...) Frederico is a great person and treated me very well! Im 36, Brazilian from São Paulo and stayed in Reggio for a couple of days.

  Not your usual hotel but really different

  This is a 4 roomed hotel on the first floor of a very centrally located building. It is a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal and 10 minutes walking from Central Station in Reggio Di Calabria. The address is easy to find with a GPS but it's entrance was a bit of a challenge as it is through a sort of tunnel and then up a small lift to the first floor, but then what a surprise! First we were met by a very friendly Matteo Federico, the manager and we then entered an ultra modern renovation of an old building. We booked a 'superior' room and found ourselves in a beautifully refurbished room with one window looking into a green park and another looking out to via San Francesco Di Paola. The large shower with super strength hot water is surrounded by dark tinted glass as is the toilet area. There are high ceilings, good wifi system (free), sky TV and an extremely comfortable bed. There is air conditioning and breakfast was included in our tariff. Fresh, clean and really delightful was our verdict. Perhaps a bit quirky but a long way from just another version of a Best Western. I would stay here again.

  Comfortable b&b

  Centrally located in Reggio. Rooms are all in one floor inside a building. Comfortable rooms. Nice bathroom and shower. Modern furniture. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures.Breakfast is offered in a cafe nearby. Some rooms are noisy because of the street. Helpful host.

  5 Star accomodation in Reggio Calabria

  We had an excellent experience at Le Royal. Basilio communicated with us prior to arrival to make check what time we would arrive. He was then waiting on the street for us, WOW. Check was easy, Basilio helped us bring our bags up. The rooms are as they look online. The rooms were cleaned daily and i would have to say they have got to be the cleanest hotel rooms i have ever stayed at. Location was great, rooms had shutters on them which blocked the light and helped with any noise from the street. Next time i return to Reggio i will definitely stay at Le Royal.

  Fantastic - could not recommend highly enough!

  Myself and my partner stayed at Le Royal during a two week trip to Italy on the south coast, sadly we were only able to spend one night but we were so impressed that we did not want to leave! We were overwhelmed during our stay at the hospitality and warmth and felt that although we were thousands of miles away from home, we were made us feel so very welcome and the level of customer service we received was by far above and beyond many other establishments we have visited. The recommendations we received were so helpful during our stay and the local knowledge from Matteo the owner was invaluable. The room was decorated to such a high standard and the level of comfort and luxury was second to none, not to mention our stay was extremely affordable and we have paid a far higher price for much less in other establishments. The pictures cannot do the room justice it was joy to stay in and we would not hesitate to stay again if we were to return to the region. (which we hope to do!)
