  Superb warm and welcoming

  Arrived on motorbike after a long drive through wet and stormy weather and received a very warm welcome . Even though we arrived late and had no dinner pre booked , our hosts managed to present lovely cold platter with a delicious local wine. We really appreciate the extra attention and kindness. This a wonderful relais.. Also try the pool, it is gorgeous..

  Simply excellent, friendly and top quality

  We arrived due to a forced stop, our cars tire broke. The owners welcomed us warmly at late afternoon. We had no lunch nor dinner that traveling day. The owner organized a cold excellent dinner for us four. Homemade food, even the children enjoyed. The local wine was very tasty and perfect married to the ham, cheese and pork sort of paté. Dessert, homemade as well, was a creamy fresh cheese with red fruits sauce. This place is a fantastic home with great views to the wine yards, the romantic atmosphere in the guesthouse and the friendly openness of the owners. Rooms are big, well decorated and absolutely clean. The couple running the guesthouse are very experienced in living abroad, lot of the decoration is coming from the Far East. This is part of the reason, why they speak english fluently and for non french speakers a perfect situation in France. By the way, he is a certified cognac tour guide and offers proper tours to the different cognac production places, this is something we couldnt try due to the situation we were, we stood just one night. This lovely guesthouse offers cognac and pinau tastings as well, this is my absolute recommendation as well.

  Execllent Relaxing Stay in a Beautiful Hotel

  The location is stunning & the local knowledge of the area & food is exemplary.We truly enjoyed the opportunity to step out of the 'rat race' & enjoy the region & the comfort of the hotel & it's facilities.The area is so quiet & dark at night it really is a refreshing experience.

  an awesome experience

  A great experience, truly reccomended! Cristine is a wonderful host, the place is just marvellous (a well restored old post station) sitting between the woods and the wineyards, with awesom view. Cristine is also a very good ccok and can serve you amazing traditional meals.

  Excellent choice

  What a treat! Our three days att Le Relais de Saint Preul were fantastic! Nice big rooms, pool-area with a great view - and a service on top level. Christine took care of us in the best ways, booking lunches, telling us what to see and helping us having a wonderful time in Grande Champagne. We are experienced travellers - and this was something extraordinary!
