  An idyllic spot within a stone's throw of the Route Nationale 7

  Le relais de chasse is a charming B&B runned by Dutch owners. We stayed two nights in the Windhoek room, which has a large living room. Although the room was soberly decorated, we felt at home. A plus is that windhoek room has a seperate entrance, directly leading to an umbrageous terrace. Extensive (though rather Dutch) breakfast. The table d'hotes offers a simple and international cuisine for a great price. The owners know the neigbourhood and gave as a lot of useful information on nearby villages and walking routes. A picnic at the nearby bec d'allier is highly recommended.

  No criticisms

  Amazingly sleepy village so close to a busy main road. Lovely property with a large garden. Owners who actually asked what we would like for dinner. Pleasant large room and very good breakfast. Convenient for cities such as Nevers and Bourges as well as transit sodefinitely a first choice if you're in the area

  A great overnight stay

  We stopped here on the way back from Italy. A lovely place to stay. Our room, or should I say rooms, were very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were served on the terrace. Both we fabulous. What a great overnight stay.

  Beautiful

  After a long drive it was well worth it. Loved every minute of our stay, lovely food, lovely hostess, lovely room very clean and spotless.Beautiful grounds. Nothing too much trouble from start to finish. Will definitely visit again. No negatives what so ever.

  A perfect stop

  We had a very nice evening here on our way back from Provence. We immediately felt at home. Our room, Windhoek, was cool on a very hot day and there was a door leading to the lovely garden where there were shady seating areas. Our evening meal, cooked by Analet, was excellent and we stayed talking with her for a long time afterwards. We would love to go back and do some cycling around the area.
