  Super place to stay with a real welcome from the owners

  We booked this hotel because we had an early flight from Bastia but we wished that we had booked for longer. As soon as we arrived (several hours before the official check in time) the owners were very welcoming and made us comfortable on the terrace while the room was finished. The early impression of great hospitality was maintained through our stay. The couple who own the hotel work hard to see that everything is perfect and all the staff are really pleasant and helpful. The spacious rooms are bright, spotlessly clean and have everything you need including a small terrace and chairs. The bathroom was large with two washbowls and a large walk in shower. There s a set menu in the evenings with an excellent range of fish and meat choices and a wide selection of local wines which are very reasonably priced. The hotel is set in large grounds which gives a real sense of seclusion and the position is perfect being right on the beach. Lots of places to eat inside or outside with plenty of places to sit and read. We will go back next year for a longer stay.

  Poor quality excessive price

  We were very disappointed by the food and service, plus cold welcome. Food was nice on the outside but not good: hair in the tuna, rotten salad, industrially made carpaccio ... Etc. The prices are very high for the poor quality and unwelcoming & Fake atmosphere One word: AVOID!

  The best hotel I've ever stayed in!

  This hotel is amazing! We stayed in a Superior Twin and a Superior Double room with a connecting door in between (Rooms 16 and 17). The room was the cleanest I've ever stayed in, the bed was really comfy, and each room had a terrace to sit outside on and listen to the sea. The twin room had 2 double beds and was bigger than the double, but the double was still a nice size. The bathroom is really clean and nice, with a lovely range of free toiletries. No separate shower, but there is a shower over the bath. Breakfast is included and is delicious. Pastries, croissants, brioche, cake, fresh fruit, lovely bread, home-made jam, meat, cheese, smoked salmon, yoghurt, toast, eggs to boil (and a little timer to keep an eye on them while you wait at your table), the best fruit salad my daughters have ever eaten, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The hotel has a private beach, and there are more than enough sun loungers. The sea is really warm! The pool area is really nice, and again, has more than enough sun loungers. Adult jacuzzi and also a children's jacuzzi. Really lovely terrace area for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just sitting and watching the sea. Beautiful sunsets! Lovely staff - especially the really helpful waitress who translated the French menu for us at dinner on the first night. The Receptionists are helpful and friendly and showed us around the terrace / pool area / breakfast buffet area when we arrived. The waitress at breakfast explained the buffet to us and was really friendly and welcoming. Some of the reviews below are a bit negative, but I can only assume it's because they were written a few years ago. This hotel is the nicest we've ever stayed in. It's only 10 minutes drive from Bastia airport and I really want to come back again for a long weekend, or for next year's holiday. We only stayed two nights and I really wish we had longer here. I can't recommend this hotel enough - it's lovely.

  Much better than the 3 star rating

  Small 21 room boutique style hotel straight on the beach. Extremely friendly staff, great food and very well maintained rooms. I have travelled around the world, being a live time platinum spy guest (Now Marriott) this hotel easily could fit in.
