Extraordinaire! An amazing stay...from the wonderful cuisine of Xavier-Mathieu to the sublime spa treatment. Original put in very nice but somewhat remote villa room and encountered internet reception problem. Very friendly staff went out of their way to move us to even more deluxe room with private pool and lovely view to the Luberon. Spent our days tooling around the Provencal countryside attending market days at the various picturesque villages. Delightful!

September in ProvenceWanted to explore Provence from one location. Explored many; chose LePhebus! During the planning stages we worked with Estelle & Lucille who supplied much information regarding the property and Spa. Since our arrival was a bit late they suggested room service which was a blessing after a long flight - it was the first real meal of the day. Gael was very welcoming at check in; helping to familiarize us with the property, showing us our room (#42) along with a lovely glass of rose. Rising to clear, coolness of the view overlooking the valley with a hot air balloon rising in the distance it was sublime. That day we took a cooking class with Chef Xavier. It was a hands-on opportunity to learn new recipes, gather preparatory/cooking tips while experiencing the mastery of the Chef. A well spent afternoon! In the evening, cocktails by the pool was a prequel to our exceptional dining experience. Venturing out in the mornings, coffee, tea and croissant were available. When we had more time, the breakfast buffet was complete. For our adventures this was the perfect solution.

Wonderful stayWe had a wonderful stay at this property during April. The staff was very welcoming and entertained my less than conversational French. The hotel rooms were very comfortable. The hotel kindly upgraded us for our Honeymoon and went above and beyond to make it special. We used this as our hub to explore the Southern Rhone and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is in a great location that is very accessible to other villages and off-site restaurants. Although Spring was about a week away when we visited, the site was absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to return and see the area in full bloom.

Wonderful ExperienceEnjoy the environment . Perfect place to celebrate something special. Relax, exercise in the grounds, wonderful spa. Great base to explore the Luberon and then return to your base of haven at the end of the day.

Enjoyed sitting out on the terrace!Checked in was quick and were offered welcome drinks which we chose a glass of rose. A staff member showed us around the hotel and the room. Since it was quiet we got upgraded from a double room with terrace to a junior suite with a small heated pool. The room and furnishings were nice but no wow factor compared to Asia standard for a boutique resort. The room did not have enough lightings, would be good to have a light on the desk. There was complimentary water and some fruits and sweets in the room which was a nice touch. All the standard 5 star hotels amenities were available, however, we found the room maintenance was lacking and hotel needed to pay more attention and address it accordingly: the light in the pool area was missing a light shade; the small round makeup mirror in the bathroom just about fallen off, the shower head did not sit properly on the pole which made hair washing rather time consuming for someone with long hair. Toiletries were nice and had subtle smell. Service was very good in general. Hotel staff turned up almost immediately to address minor problems or attend to our requests - fixing the shower head; delivering fresh milk, showing how to operate air-cond. Turn down service was good - old bath towels were removed, small biscuits given along with recommendations on what to do in the area. We had been to this area before so were just going to relax but found information on the Ochre Walk interesting therefore decided to do it and it was really good. Buffet breakfast was fine & included in our special low season rate otherwise it would be 80 pp. Could not believe the charge for something that did not require much cooking except for bacon, eggs and sausages. That price was equivalent to one of their degustation dinner menus. Just did not make sense!. We requested for a small jug of milk to have with cups of tea in the room and was charged 4. That was rather poor taste and bad PR since many cheaper hotels or B&Bs provided free of charge as part of the service. The hotels ground was nice and in a quiet area. It had nice views of surrounding areas.
