  EXCELENTE!!!!!

  Un Gran Hotel, tranquilo, acogedor, rodeado de bosque y campo, con un gran servicio. Nada más entrar ya te sorprende lo excepcionalmente bonito que es!!!! Ideal para pasar un fin de semana en pareja!!!! Seguro que volveremos!!!!

  Worth the search

  Enormously difficult to find and quite literally in the middle of nowhere this small hotel/ restaurant is worth looking out. After a fraught last few miles when the satnav had us running round in circles and the usual RoadTrip calm in the car had been tested o the lints this was a most welcome oasis of calm. Spacious and well appointed room and a first class table at fair cost.

  Lovely stopover

  We stayed here as a stopover on the way down to the Dordogne from Calais and it was a real find. Very quiet and comfortable room. Lovely helpful staff and excellent dinner in the restaurant. Lovely area for the dog to run around. Not as difficult to find as we originally thought.

  Perfect hotel

  The couple who run this hotel and restaurant could not be more courteous. Madam speaks excellent English and looked after me and my husband very well. Her husband is a great chef and I would go as far as to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had during our frequent visits to France. The hotel is picture perfect with very comfortable rooms and perfectly located for a first stop after Eurotunnel. It was so good we are about to book again for our return trip to the U.K. from Spain. Normally we find a lot of French and Spanish hotels favour hard beds, not at Le Petit Coq and as an elderly couple we were immensely grateful for the best nights sleep. Madam keeps the whole hotel in perfect condition and was graceful in showing us different rooms and helping us chose the room for our return trip. The dinner was wonderful, very French but allowing for other European tastes. We loved it all. During this Covid time when travelling can be stressful, especially at our age, we couldnt have found a better place to stay. This hotel was a real find in an undiscovered area.   Suitable for family stay in Normandie

  This hotel is located in Campigny, a small and quiet village. We made a reservation with 4 adults and 2 children for the larger rooms. They were spacious and could comfortably accommodate 3 people. The terrace was quiet and gave readily access to the swimming pool. The rooms had the basic amenities and an in-room safe, but there was no fridge or mini-bar. It was possible, though, to take something to the room at night from the bar. Wifi was slow and not constant, but they were working on it and it should be better in a few weeks. The bathroom ventilation was not optimal, so after showering, it remained very humid and misty. Because the hotel is relatively isolated we had our dinner mostly at the restaurant. The menu was changed every day and was good. Wines were affordable. Service was a bit slow and varied with the waiter/waitress on duty. At one time there was no Cola Zero any more (?). The breakfast was in the buffet format and had a choice of local produce. The scrambled eggs were excellent.
