Not worth itI stayed here in October 2015. The hotel website sells it as something really great! Firstly it was difficult to find the hotel, it is quite hidden within Lekki Phase I. Check in was ok, and at first glance, the room looks ok, that is until you shut the door and are inside. The bed linen were dirty- I had to get the hotel to change the bedsheets and duvet cover. Then I had cockroaches running across my bed- 3 on the first day and 3 on the second day. The room has poor lightning- there are some bedside lights at the side of the bed, but they don't work- I hear all through the hotel. The mattress is HARD and really uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I guess if you like really hard mattresses, you would be fine, but I kept waking up at night as the bed was very uncomfortable! They have very limited channels on the TV- most of the channels are controlled by staff at the reception. I barely had any internet- they say they have free wifi, but didn't work in my room. The room doesn't have tea/coffee making facilities. Quite disappointing were the free shampoo/ lotion, which had clearly been used by a previous guest and the miniature bottles had not been refilled and were half full! The shower was good however, had excellent shower power and good hot water. Breakfast is a joke. It isn't clear on who gets complimentary breakfast or not (was with my colleague and he wasn't eligible for complimentary breakfast while I was), but they only provide black coffee (one sachet of nescafe, if you ask for another, you pay for it), fried egg and 3 slices of white bread- if you want one more slice, they charge- at 600 Naira for a slice of white bread!!!!! I would not recommend this hotel again. Hygiene is a challenge, and the restaurant staff are just not friendly!

Le Paris HotelThis boutique hotel is located in Lekki phase one. It was pretty easy to locate and is not far from admiralty way so I was close to a range of restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Upon check in I asked for the discounted rate and opted for a standard room, I was shown a range of rooms but chose one in the main building. The room I wanted had an issue with the AC unit which a technician was attending to. I was told that I would be given that room once he had finished working on it. In the meantime, I had my luggage taken to a room which was smaller but cosy Several plug sockets were available to charge my devices; there was a small refrigerator, a standard desk and chair, and a wardrobe which had additional storage space underneath. Everything was pretty much within arms reach. The bathroom was clean and tidy so didn't need additional cleaning before I unpackedThe bed was a single bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, I slept well and the duvet wasnt too thin like most other hotels so I was pleased. I figured that the problem with the AC unit was more complex than anticipated as I was never moved to this room. I managed the smaller standard room without any issues. I was told that there was a different standard room available that was larger than my current room so I tried this but the fixtures in the bathroom had fallen off, the shower head was missing and the curtain rail came loose. I ended up moving back to the original room I was in. The staff moved my luggage back to the room promptly, they were friendly and willing to assist without expecting tips... There was an additional issue upon check out however this was solved promptly by the management who were very apologetic after hearing about my experience with the previous room. One of the good things I noticed was if there were any issues they always responded and attempt to address it promptly. The room came with breakfast which consisted of toasted bread with scrambled eggs (naija style) and tea. Make sure you ask the chef to hold the spices/chilli if youre not a fan. The dining area was a good size and well furnished. The decor was modern and stylish. Breakfast was usually ready within 15/20 minutes of placing my order. As for room for improvements, I felt the door of my room wasnt very secure When closed and pulled back there was a slight gap by the lock area. Also, I did not like the idea of the water heater being inside the bathroom; it made me feel pretty uneasy so I switched it on about 20 minutes before I showered then switched it off just before I got in. Other than the minor issues mentioned with the room change the staff were pleasant and did all they could to make me comfortable so if you need a place to lay your head thats vermin free, serve a decent breakfast and isnt too expensive AND will get you a good nights sleep then Le Paris is for you! Pros Gym available Good value for money Good location within Lekki close to nightlife and tourist attractions Courteous staff Cons Quality of room doors Water heaters in the bathroom

Worst EverThe hotel is in dilapidated state to day the least. Stains on bedsheets and pillow cases. They had to bring in a water tanker to supply water to the hotel. The hotel stinks! And for that price?! Shame.
