Good hotel, appalling managementWe stayed at this hotel before and spent two nights there in January 2020 The hotel has been recently refurbished and provides clean and comfortable accommodation. Sadly we had a serious problem with our booking. As a frequent traveller with significant international travel experience I do not usually worry about confirming room rates when checking in. Especially in an assumed first world country and as the booking had been made through Booking.com and we had a confirmatory email with all the booking details, pricing etc So when we came to check out I was asked if I wanted the room to be charged to the credit card given on checking in. I naively agreed and when I was finally given a copy of the bill I saw that I had been overcharged for the two nights stay. I also believed that because I had all the relevant confirmatory information this would be instantly corrected. How wrong I was. I was told the error could not be corrected and that we should contact Booking.com to sort out the problem. We insisted that the Manager of the Hotel call us when he was available to address the issue. I could not believe that a supposedly reputable hotel chain could ever deal with its customers so dishonestly. The additional money charged was eventually refunded in full. I was made to feel it was my fault throughout the process. I shall be more careful in checking into hotels here in the future.

stay away no covid measureWhen we arrived Sat night around 11pm, one guy was busy on the phone, we were waiting, after he hung up, there is another client called in, instead of putting his or her on wait, he grabbed the second client, we were still waiting, and when he finished his second client on the phone, he dialed 3 call out to resolved first call problem. And Bonesa came out to help, not only to mention there was a client who cut the line, and Bonesa served him first. Anyhow, it is finally our turn, before we booked this room, we called and asked for a better view, and we have been suggested to choose more expensive room which is junior suite, and we did, so when we checked in with Bonesa, we asked 'do we have a good view?' His answer after 3 minutes checking 'which side is the good view?' what??! you are the employee who works for this hotel, how am I supposed to know? If you are new, ask your co-worker? And then, not a surprise, he said you did not pay for your room. What? it is pre-paid. not to mention we were exhausted after long our drive. Then nightmare begins, during the night, there is a problem with A/C, I am 6 months pregnant, and I cannot handle cold air much otherwise I will get a headache. During the night at 2am, I woke up because of a big headache and noise. I tried to get some sleep but I cannot, and my husband struggled to turn off air conditioner, but he cannot, because it is broken. We tried 15 min, and I called the front desk, I wish it was NOT Bonesa because he does not know anything about your hotel. And it is him, of course he knows nothing, he said I will bring you a manual remote controller. After 10 min, he came into our room without any mask, any COVID measure. I told him, please stay 2m away from our room, we will bring the controller to you tomorrow, he does not want to leave because he has to have his remote controller back. WHY? We paid 150$ deposit, are you gonna steal your remote controller. Ok fine, what he did is just to disturb all the rest of the residence. We tried 10 min with this manual remote controller, it did not work, I told him please we will give you back tmr, it does not work, he left. I cannot get any sleep because of the cold wind from A/C and noise, I called him and asked if he could get me another room or turn off our breaker? He said there is no room available, I asked: really? tomorrow I will call your manager and verify what you just said. He changed and said oh no, there is. OMG, he said there is higher prix room, you have to pay for it. WHAT??? Hotel 101, something is wrong with this room, not only you guys should refund me, and now you are charging me?? I was like I do not want to talk about it with you, tomorrow I will solve this with your manager, just bring the expected Bonesa would explain it to her, when I turned my head, he was long gone, OMG....he left me with all angry clients because of him. That he is your employee from your hotel handles things. Not only is it his entire fault but he ran away like chicken and left me to solve his problem lol. We did not get any sleep until 5am that night. After that the manager is asking me to contact expedia to get a refund (another half). you know what, it is not my job to do so, and they won't even do it. That is how you guys beautifully solve the problem. BRAVO.

Contemporary hotelThis hotel has been renovated and is trendy. Offering a standard space, good product, Nespresso cafe and confortable blankets. Note that during COVID period, the are low staff and can leave you with missing stuff in the room. Staff at the front desk are very dedicated and works hard to meet your expectations. Very well located, near the water and plenty of restaurants within 5 min walking. Also, for your convenience, Pacini restaurant is located In the same building.

Very modernThis hotel was beautifully modern and above what I expected for a small town. It is easily accessible and very close to a beautiful walk on the water. There is a lovely Italian restaurant just at its footstep. Staff were friendly. Its only fault was that the sink took ages to drain. I would definitely recommend it.

Good hotelWe had a nice stay for the fees days that we stayed in the Rimouski region. Friendly staff and good location in between Bic and Saint-Flavie. Pros : - Clean - Friendly staff - Spacious rooms - Well located - Breakfast included at Pacinis. Cons : - Washroom door in room not private enough (frosted yet not closed off). As mush as its modern and nice to the eye, its not comfortable when sharing a room with family. Very nice hotel and would definitely stay here again on my way to Gaspé region. Enjoy:)
