  Wonderful visit with friends

  Lovely place, big apartments, nice and big swimming pool. Apartments are big enough even for 6 people, very cleaned and very well furnished, with kitchen and outside patio Our host Gabriele, was very nice and could also provide motorbikes for rental, also can organize nice tour for tourist A really recommended place where to stay, and enjoy Tuscany

  Wonderful Place and Hosts

  We spent ten wonderful days at La Mascie. It more than met out expectations. The grounds were beautiful and the apartment was immaculate, very cozy and comfortable. Gabriel and Dalina were gracious hosts. Gabriel warmly greeted us on our arrival and made us feel like we were old friends. We felt at home immediately. We enjoyed coming home in the afternoon to spend time at the pool and compare notes with the other guests. Gabriel was a fountain of knowledge about Tuscany -history of the area, what to visit, where to eat, traffic pointers, where to park and when the local festvitals were being held. He told us about the festival of the Madonna in Mensano. He recommended going to the donkey races which we attended with his family. What fun we had! We will aways be thankful for the help he gave us with our rental car. He spent his whole day making sure things were right for us. Dalina prepared two delicious Tuscan dishes that she shared with us. Would we go back to La Mascie Country Home? Yes, in a heart beat!

  Enchanting Spot

  We spent three nights at Le Mascie with our three children and had a wonderful time. Gabriel was warm and very helpful, giving us recommendations to local restaurants and even a lovely play area a few towns over which we took our rambunctious children to. The 'Merlo" apartment we stayed in was lovely - a rustic decor with modern conveniences like a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, etc. The heating and showers worked wonderfully and the bedding was quite comfortable. We will definitely go back.

  Incredible Wedding Venue!

  We have now visited Le Mascie twice, August 17 and August 18, and our second visit was to tie the knot. On both occasions Gabriele and Dalina could not have been more helpful and amazing. From early on we decided this would be the perfect wedding venue so our first trip was all about planning. Gabriele was enthusiastic from the beginning and worked with us to ensure our wedding was what we had planned. In the run up to the wedding, Gabriele would meet with our caterers and other vendors on our behalf to organise the set up our big day. It really took a lot of stress away from us. For our second trip, we hired out the whole borgo for 3 nights, so that our guests could all stay in 1 place with us. It was the perfect combination of well-equipped apartments for guests to relax in their own space, and a large pool and terrace area for communal fun. The facilities are amazing and our guests enjoyed time in the pool, playing in the childrens play area and a game of football on the grass. The apartments are clean and traditionally furnished with lovely kitchens and individual outside terraces. On the morning of our arrival Dalina was so accommodating, cleaning apartments to a high standard, even in the order we requested to allow some guests an early check in. The wedding itself could not have been more perfect! Gabriele and Dalina bent over backwards to ensure that it all ran smoothly and that we did not have to worry about a thing. On the evening that everyone arrived we had a pizza party in the courtyard with desserts from a local bakery (organised and picked up by Gabriele). It was a wonderful setting for all the guests to get to know everyone. The following day we had an evening wedding ceremony in the olive grove, such a romantic and beautiful setting. This was followed by aperitifs in the courtyard and then a sit-down meal during sunset. There had been some rain earlier in the day and Gabriele was able to set up one apartment with a long table and chairs should we need an indoor dining space. After dinner we danced in the courtyard until the pool party began. Le Mascie was the perfect place to have a post-wedding day of relaxation. Most of our guests joined us around the pool for some relaxation and recovering in the sun. I cannot recommend this place enough for a holiday or for a wedding. Gabriele and Dalina were fantastic hosts and all of our guests (aged 1 to 70 years) enjoyed their time here. Le Mascie has stunning grounds, beautiful flowers and amazing spaces to work with, we needed very little decoration to make this a fantastic wedding venue.

  Wonderfull Italian experience

  Last year we visited Toscane and had a fantastic stay with Gabriele and his family. We immediately felt at home at this typical Italian farmhouse. The roomy house was cool and with a nice Italian atmosphere. At arrival we got a warm welcome by our host Gabriele. He gave us a lot of great tips and because of that we went to places we normally wouldn't go. Gabriele was always there for tips and help. He even found us a great restaurant in Casole d'Elsa with a chef who cooked us a great vegetarian meal. The visit to olive oil man in Casole d'Elsa gave us a great view of the Italian way of olive oil production in small village where everybody brings their olives together to produce a tasty olive oil. We're still enjoying this olive oil at home! Even our dog loved the place and became friends with one of the nine cats of Gabriele! All together we loved our stay and the wonderfulp hospitality of Toscane!
