  A Tuscany Dream come true

  My husband and I stayed that Podere Le Manzinaie for 5 days in September 2019. It was our first visit to Italy. Of all of the places we visited this was our most enjoyable experience. The Montepulciano area itself is fantastic. However, the stay at the villa made it even more special. It was so relaxing and beautiful. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and make the experience extra special with added touches and a wealth of infromation about the area. It is so close to all of the places we wanted to visit. We have told all of our friends (and even strangers we met on our travels) about this place as it is truly a must see. We look forward to going back.

  Top rated Tuscany Experience for a reason

  Consider everything we experienced in our stay at Podere le Manzinaie in July and August. This beautifully restored farmhouse was more than a respite from the summer crowds of the larger centres in Tuscany- this is a destination in itself. From the large pool to the manicured grounds to the vegetable garden, you can enjoy yourself without leaving the property. A place to write your book. Genuine..smart..funny..enthusiastic..extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture and local hotspots..this describes the owners. Know that you will be taken care of but not smothered with useless information. Alice and Marzia take the time to ask what you want to see or do and can suggest day trips, circle tours and town excursions very close by. Its like having an expert concierge service included in your accommodation booking. We drove to Pisa and navigated exactly to the free parking lot that Alice recommended, then spent the entire day at leisure seeing some spots Alice said we would enjoy. She was right. Tip: Pisa was more welcoming, less busy and had a great feel to us. Reminded me of Marseille in southern France, coming back to its former glory. Every Wednesday is a celebration and meeting time with whoever is staying there at the time. The entire family- Fiore, Marzia, Matteo and Alice- cook a delicious really authentic Italian dinner including local wine, cappuccinos and homemade deserts. I would say this was a highlight of our stay. Meeting people from around the world and sharing food, drinks and hearing everyones story. And maybe Matteo has perfected his Mojitos by now! Thats what a holiday is all about for us. If youre looking for a terrific location, honest accommodation and most of all the best people we met on our trip, book time there. In the words Fiore said every morning to me when I asked how he was- Bene!! Always Bene!! Thats how we feel about Le Manzinaie. Thanks to everyone for the best part of our tour.

  Beautiful house, beautiful people

  We were welcomed at the farmhouse by Marzia, Fiore, Alice & Matteo. They immediately offered us a glass of wine and some home-made pasta. They are very friendly, genuine people who make you feel very welcome in their house. They have restored the farmhouse into several suites of varying size. Our "Rose" room was very comfortable and very well appointed. We had delicious fruit from their orchard. The farmhouse is very near to Montepulciano and other towns, with nearby shops, supermarkets and vineyards. We would love to stay there again sometime.

  Happiness under the Tuscan Sun: Le Podere Manzinaie

  Italy's Tuscany Region is filled with treasures and among them is the charming vacation house, "Le Podere Manzinaie". This beautifully restored farm estate operated by the Grassi family offers immaculate and spacious accommodations with all of the warmth and welcoming spirit associated with Tuscany. We have found its strategically located position to be within short driving distances to the heart of Montepulciano's wine cellars and the towns of Montichiello, Pienza, and Cortona. Within about an hour's drive, we have been able to journey to Montalcino. It is also the perfect location to visit Siena, San Gimigniano, and the entire Chianti Region. Even Assisi is only about one hour away. Having first discovered this gem in the heart of Montepulciano some years ago and having stayed here on several occasions when in Tuscany, we always look forward to returning. Marzia, Husband, Fiore, Daughter Alice and her Husband, Matteo provide a family touch to the authentic Italian experience. Not to be overlooked when exploring Tuscany!!
