    1. Hotel location is best , beach is just a minute away across the road . A. Rooms are basic, meets very basic requirements of customer. 2. Food is very good , always Indian _ best for vegetarians with good loads of desert. B. Wi if is in general areas & balconies only and not in room. 3. Bus stop, submarine ride,sub scooter ride , water activities all across the road C . Bathrooms needs maintenance as broken tiles , patch repair are shabby 4. Potable water available round the clock to refill bottles , bottled water is costly. D. Basic repair / replacement not available after 4 pm till next day 10 am . Replacement of bulb , repair to tube light in bathroom and Internet restoration took 18 hours. 5 peacefull locality around E its not a 3 star property as told, no night life around the property. Reception negative in attitude.

    Fine Rustic 3 star hotel with very service minded staff

    Very nice and clean hotel. Decoration rustic which I like. All functioning very well. Free parking in the basement. Multitasking Audrey in the reception provides friendly, fast and good service:-) Can also recommend the restaurant.

    Quarantine

    One of the worst place for quarantine dirty and same food everyday. No option to chose from. Everytime need to complain Ac not working...poor Internet connection very disappointed. Same flavour yogurt same flavour juice.

    Very bad quarantine experience

    Seriously not happy with the fact that I have a broken live socket exposed that is super dangerous!!! Toilet is very small. I have to turn sideways to have a dump!!! Plus, I don't have any shampoo and body wash! And they don't provide food when needed!!! Got here at 4:30, hungry because there's no options of buying any food on the way. Asked them for food on arrival but didn't got anything until 8:30pm...Also TV remote have not battery??? Seriously, this is a crap service for the money they are charging!!!

    A Beautiful Hotel with Rich all round Mauritian Experience

    Le Grand Bleu is a beautfiul property with a very friendly Staff. The room we stayed in in slightly smaller and felt a bit cramped. However since it was on first floor and offered a decent view, we did not ask for a change. But for other guests who did, the hotel staff were more than happy to oblige. The Hotel is right on the coast with beach just across the road. We had a great time going for an early morning walk and swim everyday. Dont forget to get the towels from the Hotel Gate before you go for the swim. The breakfast and dinner spreads are quite lavish ranging from Continental to Indian. The Restaurant bar is well stocked and prices are more or less the same you see in most Mauritian Restaurants if not a tad bit highers. There are quite some activities around too - Blue Safari, the submarine safari is right next door. The hotel as it is though is a little away from most spots and will take a while to get to any place. This is a blessing in disguise as you get to see the peaceful seas not swarmed by tourists. Also since its on the western side of the island, the sea is calmer. The hotel staff is friendly and are ready to make you feel welcome always. They can help you book taxi at almost no extra cost. We found the Taxi price similar. If you are a bit into exploring local transportation like us, you can take the Local Buses to travel - pretty cheap and get you there in decent time. If you feel adventurous though, you can hire a two wheeler right next door. All in all, great property, great food, while a little far away, very calm and has one of the best beaches of Mauritius on offer.
