  staying in a palace with a fair price

  We stayed at the hotel on september 2016 and enjoyed it very much. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, the room is furnished beatiful and clean with a terrace to the view and they serve a nice breakfast.the place is a palace from the 19 century but kept very good and the price is fair.there is a parking

  Amazing views, amazing hotel, amazing people!

  A unique experience! Truly needs to be seen to be believed. We first stayed here with our children and partners for one night in June 2016 and loved it so much booked for a week in September. It is a family run hotel offering eight beautifully decorated rooms, with vintage Italian furniture. The family and staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Access to the hotel is from a glass lift, offering amazing views, up three floors to the reception; a vast, ornately decorated room. The room we had was huge, with en suite and stunning views to Mount Vesuvius. Everywhere beautifully clean. Wonderful evenings sat on the balcony enjoying the views and later many firework displays. Ideally located for visiting Pompeii, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast etc. A car is needed as there are not too many local places within walking distance to eat. However, the hotel is hoping to have it's dining room back and running in the not too distant future. They are refurbishing. We would definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend to anyone. Thank you all for a wonderful and relaxing stay. We will return!

  real test of Italy

  Stunning view from room,very nice friendly staff,helpful owners,good choice for breakfest,the best cappucino in Italy,car is necessary,hotel is set on the clif too far walking to the local shops and restaurants,but not too far to see Amalfi Coast

  Fantastic View of Vesuvius

  Stayed for 5 nights during May 2017. Lovely family hotel, very friendly owners but a bit out of the way, a car is essential. The driving conditions in this area are ridiculous but you soon get with the swing of things, you have no choice. My wife and I are on a 3 week trip going round Italy and this area is the only place where the rules for driving are different in that there are no rules. There were no dining facilities available at the hotel so eating in was not an option. There are few restaurants to choose from but our holiday was out of the main season. The hotel is rated as 5 star but I think 4 star is more appropriate. It is not a good hotel for disabled people as there are too many steps with the hotel being perched on top of a cliff. There are 2 lifts but you still have to walk up a flight of stairs between lifts.

  Family holiday

  Lovely hotel with a stunning view towards Mount Vesuvius. The owners were lovely and really helpful, the hotel is really clean and the pool is so picturesque - lie on a sun bed, listen to the fountain and enjoy the view. We didn't have a balcony room but even so to open the shutters each morning looking over the Bay of Naples was lovely.A car is a necessity though but Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum all close by and the Amalfi coast and the road of a 1000 bends to negotiate not far away.
