  Business trip

  A colleague and I stayed here after a 8 hour drive from the UK. The host was very attentive and welcoming. The grounds that the hotel is situated in is very nice. The hotel is self is a nice, but missing a restaurant for evening meals, although breakfast was nice, but limited. The room was large. For the type of hotel this should be, the bathrooms are not suitable and would put me off revisiting next time I'm in the area. The sat nav doesn't recognise the location of this hotel, so more signs outside would be really useful! Would recommend this hotel as a country retreat rather than business use.

  Not what we expected

  The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. We were booked for a two night stay but left after one for the following reasons. Firstly, the beautiful building pictured is not the accommodation on offer. The building we stayed in is an aged care facility located in the same grounds which has had some renovations. The rooms are good and beds new so sleep quality was not a problem. The horses pictured are on the next property and not part of the complex. The breakfast was average. We do not feel the advertisement for this property was accurate given the building photographed was undergoing a complete refit and I doubt had ever been operational as a B&B. On a positive side, the room rate was reasonable and the location very quiet. Should the renovation be completed on the historical building and the B&B be operated from this premises the experience would be entirely different, and more like the one we reasonably expected.

  great surprise for a business stay; was close to retreat spirit :-)

  We've stay there several colleagues and i during more than a week. We even used the conference room facilities along a week located inside the old building. Friendly welcome and attentive care all along the stay from the manager and the staff. You are a bit aside Rennes city center but close to Cesson Sévigné - Activity Zone (3kms) but you can enjoy staying in a quiet green park full of tries in the middle of countryside with some horses around. There is no formal restaurant but you can have lunch or diner on demand. Fresh and really good food. The rooms are in the newly refersheb house. Beds really good for sleep. Just one point that I had a bathroom handicap equipped less ''romantic''

  Beautiful 4Ha parc around an old mansion full of charm and nicely redecorated. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The room is a good size and bed comfortable. Bathroom is a plastic block added (lime in hospitals) - very clean but a little cold if you keep the door closed from bedroom. The walls are thin so if people respect the others it's fine but a light sleeper could be disturbed by alarm of next door person. If you like countryside it is a gorgeous place surrounded by cows and horses and you can have a run or a walk around the parc with trees 100s of years old. Breakfast is served in the sunroom and is a very nice continental breakfast. Would recommend
