  Very enjoyable meal.

  Staff met us with a very friendly greeting, speaking to us in English. Brought us an English menu with a nice selection of meals. Enjoyed a good chardonnay whilst eating our salad starter and Cod main meals. Recommended.

  Excellent food and service.

  Staying at the Cottage Hotel, we ate at their restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly English speaking, staff member, who quickly took our drinks order, before binging us an English menu, comprising some good choices. We chose a goat cheese salad starter, followed by Cod main courses, accompanied by green beans and French-fries. We took our coffees sat on the terrace. Lovely cooked meal, good value.

  Excellent dining and hotel

  I have been staying at the cottage hotel under several management for over 20 years. The hotel is particularly run for British visitors. I cannot praise it enough over the care of their guests. Nothing is too much trouble including if necessary dietary requirements. Even after a stressful journey and the kitchen has closed they still ensure you get a decent meal. The chefs over the years have always been top notch and I speak from way over a hundred stays. I recommend the cottage hotel and restaurant to everyone.

  WARNING STAY AWAY

  We had the misfortune of our company picking this hotel. Staff were very rude and unhelpful. Dont know if it was because we were English but forgetting if it wasnt through the English they would be talking German. Shower water would not drain away whilst taking a shower. My colleagues room stunk of sewer. We decided to move out. They lost out on approx £5,000 pounds as we are staying for a few more weeks,through their bad attitude its their loss. Its a two star hotel but to be fair take away one star and thats all its worth. If you value your health, stay away from this hole.

  Okay for an overnight stay

  Our room was clean but small. The bathroom was really small and there wasn't much space for getting out of the shower. WiFi was free but didn't work in our room - even though we were close to the reception area; it only worked in the reception/bar/restaurant areas. The staff were all pleasant and spoke good English. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and at a reasonable price. As we were only staying one night before our ferry home the next morning we didn't worry too much about the problems mentioned above.All in all, the price is reasonable and there is an on-sight restaurant and bar, which we were happy about after a long car journey through France to Calais.
