  Lovely village

  The room was around the back and up up two steep flights of stairs, and was small, but had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the town. It was clean and I guess adequate. There is an indoor pool, but this had some noisy ankle-biters in, which put us off using it. Wasn't very impressed with the restaurant - I think we should have eaten out. The village of Besse-et-Anastaise is really beautiful and well worth a visit.

  Nice atmosphere

  I spent a really nice time! The food is great and the staff too. The area is quiet and beautiful. Nothing to add but " if I do go back to France I should stay at Hotel Le Clos". There's always things to improve but really great place to stay... no disappointment.

  Disappointing

  I booked a room in this hotel as the reviews were quite good. We received a friendly welcome and were told about the facilities and détails about our stay. Our room was extremely small and had an adjoining door to the bedroom nextdoor. There was just a sticker covering the key hole. Fortunately our neighbours were not Noisy. It could have been a problem. the shower room was so tiny we couldn't wash our feet unless we opened the shower screen. We were just given some small bars of soap and a small sachet of shampoo for two days so make sure you bring your own toilettries. There was a swimming pool but you must take your own towel. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of fruit, cereals, cheese, jam etc... Considering the price of the room we could have expected a higher standard.

  Perfect for a family stay!

  We have been staying at the hotel is summertime with 2 young kids. The personnel was very friendly, food very good (all specialities of the environment) and the swimming pool (with bubble bath) was welcome after going around and do some sightseeing. The room where we stayed was big enough and although there was no airco, cool enough during hot days. Certainly recommended!
