Great people, wonderful food and good location for visiting all the local artisans' studios.

Everyone was welcoming and helpful, despite my late arrival. I had a wonderful dinner and discovered it was the perfect jumping off point for a tour of the local ceramic studios. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice view and a provence atmosphere

We arrived at the hotel late, around 11:30pm so the reception was closed, but we were nicely surprised from an email in which there were very easy and well made instructions on how to get our key. We were traveling a lot to different locations during the two days weve spend at the hotel so unfortunately we werent able to spent a lot of time in the hotel. From what we were able to see, it was a very nice hotel with a very french and nice atmosphere, we stayed in room 11 and the the view was amazing. We were able to visit the restaurant for lunch and everything was great, the service, the food and the prices are really reasonable. I would recommend this hotel. The only problems we had was that the GPS had some issues finding the hotel, so it took as a while to locate it and the other problem was that there was no shower stand on the wall in the bathroom and you have to hold the shower all the time, but other than that everything was great!

    Heavenly haven

Need some peace and quiet? Sunshine and some swimming? Divine dining? Head south to St Quentin-la-Poterie... Le Clos de Pradines is set on the hilltop in a small village full of artisan potters and ceramicists. It has lovely views across the countryside, taking in castles and rolling valleys. Each of the suites has a balcony or patio, and faces the gorgeous swimming pool and lush green grounds. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-serviced. The hotel has a restaurant, where meals are served on the terrace overlooking the pool, or inside if the weather is too breezy. The chef is excellent, serving perfect meals created from fresh market ingredients each day. Delicious! Without exception, the staff were lovely, kind and generous with their time and very accommodating of our strangled Franglais. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

    Peaceful, Pampered Paradise!

This charming, well-run hotel was exactly what we needed after being in Paris for 6 days. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by Sophie who spoke excellent English. Our room was very comfortable with good A/C, lighting for reading, sparkling bathroom with shower and Occitaine products. Our room had a balcony overlooking the garden, pool and outdoor dining area. The view over the distant hills was beautiful, giving us some gorgeous sunsets. So quiet during the night. Very peaceful. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, pain au chocolat, rolls, eggs, salami, cheeses, homemade sweet bread, juices, coffee and teas. Dinners were fabulous. We dined there 4 out of our 5 night stay. Fine dining. The offerings depended on what was fresh from the daily market. Very creative meals and desserts. The wine list was varied with excellent well-priced local wines and those from other regions in France and other countries as well. The hotel is owned and operated by a wonderful couple, Gaelle and Patrice, very kind and hard-working. They make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The village itself is filled with potters and ceramicists. Fun! Also, the beautiful town of Uzes is nearby, as are historic Nimes, the Pont du Gard and other small, interesting little villages. We look forward to our next trip back!

    Great place to stay

We booked demi pension and had a great stay, the room was comfortable and had a view towards Uzes, the evening meal was fantastic, we recommend going with the menu du Marche, really excellent duck for main course, historic! We would come back anytime! Good breakfast but the coffee needs to be stronger!
