    Just the best...

We traveled all across Europe on our honeymoon, and Roussillon was our favorite destination. I'm an art nerd, and it was important for me to see the ochre and pigments here. But this little village is so much more than that. This hotel is lovely, beautiful, and just perfect. It's located right in the heart of the main part of the village, just steps from the ochre walk and cliffs. The room was clean, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. The patio overlooking the valley was beautiful. We were able to walk everywhere we went, even to the ochre museum about a mile away. We did have a car with us since we drove from Marseille, and the hotel had 4 parking spaces, one of which they let us use and leave our car for the duration of our stay. The breakfast every morning was perfect and having breakfast out on the patio overlooking the ochre cliffs was an experience I'll never forget. Everyone we met in this village was kind to us, from the pharmacist (I caught a cold on our flight from London) to the postman at the post office. If you stay here, be sure to take some time to just wander the streets of the village and soak in it's beauty, you will be changed forever. <3

Charming, Great Views, Located in Wonderful Hilltop Village

We stayed for a night while touring the Luberon region of France. Superb hotel. Staff were excellent, view from bedroom windows over the vineyard were excellent. We did stay in the top floor. The hotel is old as the village is old, This is a heritage type hotel with stair issues etc.. Nevertheless the "reconstruction" of the hotel renovation is excellent. The restaurant was excellent as was the morning view from the terrasse for breakfast. Probably our best hotel while in France for 3 weeks. Excellent free parking was provided steps away. Important since parking is congested since this is a very popular day trip for tourists. Staying here you get to enjoy the village stroll after and before the crowds arrive. Another couple with us did an easy 1 km hike down the hill to an excellent winery tour.

    Wonderful stay....outstanding dining

We were traveling through France on a long distance hike and were pleasantly surprised by Roussillon (we were afraid it would be overly touristy like Fontaine du Vaucluse), not so. It was super, great little shops, lovely picturesque town and the hotel was clean and comfortable Staff was outstanding. Dining in the hotel restaurant was exceptional.

Great spot with an incredible view

This town in the heart of Provence has lots to offer and is central for day trips. The hotel staff are friendly and our room with a terrace is wonderful. The view of the Ochre Cliffs is perfect from our room and the restaurant. The restaurant is one of the best in town.

    Loved the village of Roussillon!

We stayed at the Le Clos de La Glycine for 2 nights. Our room was "Le Genet" Luxury Room and it was very comfortable for our stay. We had our own private balcony which faced the valley. There is a parking space available a very short walk from the hotel if you are driving, which is very important since the town does get a lot of tourists and parking is limited. The town has many nice restaurants and wonderful Ochre cliffs and a hike to view the beautiful colors (definitely recommend the hike). Roussillon is an amazing hilltop village and so much fun to walk around the town and take in the sights.
