Good for non-smokersWe were traveling and looking for a decent place to stay without the smell of smok in our room. We were able to find this hotel on Agoda.com filtering out for non-smoking rooms. The LeCiel had a floor dedicated for non-smokers. It was very important to us to have a room that was smoke free. The beds were extra firm, which has been better for our backs instead of the soft mushy mattresses. The room was very simple with a computer, refrig. etc. See pictures. The front office was very friendly and helpful.

Simple and CleanNothing particular wrong with this hotel, check in was quick, the rooms are spacious and tidy, the bathrooms are huge, showers are decent, beds are firm. There is a convenience store just across the street. Given its location which is not in the central of town, it is very quiet. But it did mean taxi rides all the time. It is surrounded by love hotels and I think this hotel are used as one by the locals too, because the toiletry provided in the room included a little pack of contraception. Beware that the receptionists/owners do not speak any English at all, but they have a person they would call and act as a translator.

VERY helpful staff, hard beds :(Stayed here while visiting Jeonju. Not centrally located. The taxi from the train station took 15 minutes or so. Rooms are clean and FULLY stocked with toiletries because this is a neighborhood of "love hotels." No, not prostitution. This is where Korean couples who live with their parents can go for a night out. So you'll find robes, shower sandals, and every imaginable toiletry supply. We heard no untoward sounds from the other rooms, however. Management was VERY accommodating and willing to help us out, although their English was limited. We requested western-style beds because we didn't want to sleep on floor mats. But even those were very hard. Fortunately, they were willing to get a mat from another room and put it on top of the bed. That helped somewhat. But still, not what Americans are used to.
