  Like staying in a modern museum

  The manager explained hat Bifore is not an Italian version of "before", but it refers to "bi fore", two arches. And that characterizes this absolutely fantastic bed and breakfast in the center of Lecce. There are about six stately rooms, each featuring the highest ceilings one can imagine, all beautifully arched as in old churches. Marble floors, designer paintings (Pollack), artistic chairs (Bok), glass tables with statuette legs, it is like staying in a museum. The wifi is solid and fast. The guests feel like kings. The breakfast buffet is basic, its cappuccino excellent, and the friendliness of the staff is unmatched in Italy. Le Bifore is located next to the best restaurant of Lecce and a bloc from the old center of Lecce with its characteristic baroque yellow streets. We left teary-eyed. I will return to Le Bifore, despite a couple of hiccups. I wish hat they would guarantee a parking space for every guest because parking is a real problem in Lecce.

  Fabulous

  This wonderful boutique hotel is perfectly located steps from the old town ....our suite room on the 4th floor was perfect ... beautifully decorated with modern art and furniture and a fantastic private roof terrace. Very comfortable. The manager helped us with our luggage and showed where we could park our car ..very close by in a private secure garage for 10 Euro per day. Breakfast was very good and were very friendly and professional. We cannot fault this charming place and highly recommend it ..you wont be disappointed.

  A wonderful room and a very good location!

  The house is really close to the historical city center ( 2 minutes walking). Our room was beautiful, with 2 bathrooms. We really felt welcome. Thank you for parking our car every evening!!! The breakfast was also very good.

  Good location, nice room and breakfast

  Very nice and well located. Danilo waited for us and showed us the place and than guided us to the arranged parking (no room for parking next to this house, as it is within the old city). Room was very spacious and comfortable, modern in an old house.

  Very disappointing

  The building itself is wonderful but: 1) No room cleaning at all is performed due to covid-19. This includes (used) towels, which do not get replaced 2) No breakfast at all is served due to covid-19 -> instead, you get a voucher for a coffee & a croissant (thats it) to be redeemed at a nearby cafe 3) The check-in procedure was very confusing and I ended-up staying in a room type different from the one I had booked 4) Very scarce hot water: had to shower with cold water on my first day 5) The place is quite run-down: dirty walls, some cheap furniture (IKEA) 6) Bad is stone hard: could hardly get some sleep 7) Very small & cheap TV All of the above, considering the price point, is not really acceptable. On the positive note, rooms are super big and roomy. This place has a huge potential which is clearly not exploited. As an Italian myself, my recommendation is the following: do yourself a favor and book somewhere else in Lecce.
