  Great Location & Friendly

  This place is 50m from the Entrance Surf Club, flags right in front. Easy walk to quality restaurants and coffee shops etc. We didnt move the car for 2 days, went to top restaurants, surfed, swam in ocean pools and went to the Entrance Hotel to eat and listen to live music. Be jovial with your Italian host as they reciprocate and enjoy the fantastic breakfast...really good

  Pleasant stay and close to the beach

  My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon in December and had a pleasant stay here. We arrived a little early and were told to come back later as our room wasn't yet ready which was fine. We managed to park under the cover and walked to the beach literally 50m away. When we came back our hosts John and Linda welcomed us and took our payment before showing us our room. Our room was a standard room with a double bed and was quite small but as we were here for 2 nights it was fine and the fan kept the room cool and the small fridge allowed us to put our drinks in to stay cold. Breakfast was included and you choose what you want the night before. There was a good selection of pastries, cake, cereals etc and a choice of a hot option. I had the omelette the first day which i thought was ok - it was a little and massive! The bruschetta the next day was good though. We used the hot tub on the first night and John helped us take the over off and was nice to watch the sunset and overlook the sea - there was a tad too much chlorine though. Overall we had a good stay, everything is within walking distance and the bed was comfortable and plenty of reading material on what to do in the local area. If you did want wifi then there isn't any.

  Long weekend stay

  We spent 4 comfortable nights at Lavender House. It has an old world feel about it and John and Linda were excellent hosts. Very handy to the beaches and walks. Air conditioning works very well as we had some 30+ temperatures. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay.

  Great for a short stay

  We had a king room at the top of the house with a nice view of the ocean. The room was spacious, airy with the king bed a lounge and eating area and a small kitchen area. Access was by a lift and the property was just a short walk from the beach. A longer walk took us into town. The property owners could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Our time included breakfast which was delivered to the room at a time of our choosing. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and the food and service were great. We would recommend this venue. The zen trance has some attractions but probably more suitable for a short stay. We were there for two nights but could have stayed a little longer.

  Wow what a great discovery

  Greeted by John and Linda, the perfect hosts. Located just up from the beach and close to everything at The Entrance. Room 7 is huge. Ocean views. Clean and well appointed. Open and airy wrap around balcony. Perfect brekkie prepared by John Our first Australian B&B. We highly recommend. Do tune into John's sense of humour which added to our delightful stay there.
